As usual you sum it up very succinctly, Alrightmate! This is what's been sorely missing this series - HMs just letting themselves go and having fun. I salute Joel! It was kind of like watching a 10 year old in front of a mirror with his Mum watching (no, my son gay? Never!) and at the same time watching a very smart young man totally taking the piss out of a bunch of old farts. It was great!!

I don't much like Danny but can't begin to hazard a guess at what he was feeling or thinking. I wouldn't say he was furious or seething, he certainly did look serious though.

Cristian walked in and sat down to watch, giving Jack a big hug and back slap on the way,
Chloe said politicians are always a bit weird and have a kinky side, Nick was smiling and joining in. It was odd as though they were all emotional about something.

Joel was awesome tonight and that was the best moment of the series imo

Danny seemed upset. Possible reasons why:
He may have been worrying about that task where the public thought he wanted fame. Who knows what else was revealed in that task.
He may have been worrying about his right hand man, Cristian, seeming to be more interested in Joel since Cristian got up and walked away from Danny to go sit in front to listen to Joel
He may have thought Joel was going to get a good edit and votes…worried about winning.
He may have been feeling "old" since it's mainly the young ones and Chloe left; he may have felt out of place (also the younger guys are educated/intellectuals relative to him).
He may have been feeling nostalgic or stressed.
I don't know and I don't think we can really now for sure. I do think that Joel perplexes him and he can't figure him out.
I may be completely wrong but those are some of the reasons that popped into my head. I had a hard time seeing if he was upset/sad/angry or a mix….maybe having regrets.
I still don't like Danny

Danny has been calculated from the get go. The way he lead Sarah on, Then he acted the exact same with . ( Tbf Aisling acted like a bunny boiler ) Joel has been the most entertaining from start to finish. Even when I disliked him at the start he made me laugh. Joel is 100% my WINNER
