It sickened me somewhat when Jack was going through all those tasks and not a single housemate stepped up and said,

"look jack, the fund is over 100k, you don't have to sit in that fish bath for 2 grand for me".

Not only did nobody say this but some of them actively made it worse with spiteful comments. They all abandoned him in the garden leaving him in the bath. They laughed as his goggles filled up with stuff. They made fun of his hair cut. Chloe said he stole 23k when he was clearly asking the group to say enough is enough.

Not an ounce of compassion shown.

Disgraceful.

Fair points.
Now that Sam has gone Jack is the next least considered HM.
Nobody gives a crap about him.

We only saw the Highlights.

Danny walked away from him - because, in his mind, Jack stole the money....

Jack was quite happy to do his penance

It wasn't THAT bad what he had to do
He put money into the prize fund
So he should have given something back -- having taken 23900
And he didn't care
The hair was the worst thing , but he could've shaved the side , but he's a guy it will grow back and he wears a hat a lot

Anyone who'd taken that money would have had to do the same thing

Why did they need to? It was up to Jack to decide as he did yesterday when he took £24,000.

Because he's got a lot of money , and only one of them can win ! They're jealous.

I missed that bit in the show. But as several people are reporting that I assume that it's true.
If she thinks he 'stole' the money then how can she defend herself for taking £5k too. Or does her particular brand of morality only extend to other people?
Jack 'stole' his money, but I guess that with Chloe her £5k is a special case that she can justify to herself.

Its not about how bad the tasks were or how much money he took. Its about the stinking attitudes of those slowly pouring fish huts over him. They didn't even want to go near the buckets at first but found a sick pleasure in punishing Jack.

I thought they weren't bothered about the money? Yeah right. Twunts.

You'd think so. But in this series I think there are quite a few people who believe what they want to believe.
It probably doesn't help that Marc said he could see it too, but as Marc was a controversial housemate who had quite a lot of people disliking him people may be less inclined to agree with something he believes.

It makes you wonder if Danny really would have shared 'his' winnings with Jack and Chloe.
As they made that pact you'd think Danny would be over the moon for him as Jack has already got the share that they agreed he was due.

What they don't seem to realise is that he was doing what he was doing for THEM or whoever the winner was going to be. He really didn't have to bother.
He's got his money, he could have left it at that.

Exactly. It was the very least he could do after his selfish actions took money from the winners prize fund and put money in his own bank account. It's hard to feel sympathy for someone who done what Jack did.

Don't forget that not only is she an exception to her own skewed scruples, but everyone should be happy for her else she'll play the victim. She's a right passive-aggresive textbook is that one.

I found the whole thing really uncomfortable to watch for all the reasons you have stated. There's no way I could have let him go through all that without stepping in and saying 'Why don't we all ask BB to stop this.'

Does that matter ?
She'd have done the fake tan, the Nil by mouth and any card round her head , but maybe not the fishguts bath and clipping of hair - but Jack is hardly vain is he

He's a boy/man who loves football and hanging with lads , none of those tasks were a problem fgs

, he said it , he got that money so he was happy to add to prize fund.

They always do the fake tan thing to some HM , it's been done before and a lot of the tasks involve fish guts ! and sitting in baths of gunk/having things in head (which they be done this year in tasks if you remember)

He didn't have to stand in the middle of a motorway fgs

I think it made him feel better about taking it.....good on him I say (And BB for giving him the opportunity). He can now spend it with a smile and head held high.

It's a GAME SHOW and I think Jack has played it brilliantly despite having tougher times than most in there
He gave up the car because being in big brother was more important-HUGE RISK BUT IT PAID OFF-he probably never expected to last this long
He hasn't hidden that he want to win some money, good on him, wouldn't we all like that?
He lost the £5000 he took but didn't moan about it
He had the opportunity to get £24,000 and HE HAD GUTS AND WON IT FAIR AND SQUARE-Cris wasn't far behind and I'm pretty sure Danny and Chloe would have gone for it too in a few seconds-the others didn't need money but if they had who knows what they would have done???

The tasks today were to add money for the winner-Jack really doesn't think he can win now that he has some money so HE DID THOSE TASKS FOR THEM.
A little support would have been nice!!!!

Jack to win, he's a great BB game player and also a nice, genuine person Every episode I see him supporting someone else with a nice comment, every single episode!!
Yes he can be grumpy-the diet in there probably has a lot to do with it re blood sugar levels, but he was always polite to everyone who came in that house.

And after these tasks I think he deserves the rest of the money too
