Problem with phone move
I have just relocated a business and had BT transfer the phone line. However since the phone was disconnected at the old property I have been unable to get it working at the new one. I can get a dialling tone but if I dial a number then half way through I get a message saying the call can't be connected (or some such). I'm assuming that because I get a voice message the physical line must be working and it's a BT fault. Problem is it's really old wiring and there is no BT master socket so it's difficult to prove one way or the other. I have booked an engineer to come but if it's my problem then I will be due the £129.99 bill.
