I was just thinking, I used to like Judy but she seems to be just filling in the blanks laid out by the production team, regardless of whether she has any actual opinion or insight.

She missed the bit where Nick pulled his lip so hard that he accidentally hurt himself. 
Not that there's necessarily a psychological explanation, it just would have been amusing to see the moment on slow-mo repeat.

Absolutely. In the early days 'psych on the sofa' Judy could say anything from the heart. now, she is literally gagged and bound and has to keep within legal limits

I don't think she even has a bachelors in Psychology. I remember reading she only got the job because used to help models with their body language on the catwalk.
