I really think Vote to Evict has really effected this series probably more so than any other Civillian series on Channel 5 in a while as we have lost some really good characters due to it being Vote To Evict and we have been left with a pretty dull final 6 overall . Do we think Vote To Save will possibly be brought back the next civilian series like it is for the Celeb Series ?

Yes it should have always thought it should be vote to save and this series has just backed up my point .

Absolutely! It gives the viewers a house of people they want to watch rather than what we have now - a bunch of floaters.

Yes.

The reason BB 2013 was so good was because it was vote to save. Its gone downhill ever since they brought back vote to evict.

Yes, definitely. I have wanted vote to save ever since the channel 4 days. Fans should be able to save their fave.

They have it in the celeb series so why not have it in normal BB too ?

BB 2013 had vote evict, it was BB 2012 that had vote to save

Absolutely; I think it would help remove a lot of the overly cynical nature and booing crowds associated with BB as well.

NO - Vote to Evict is one of the ONLY things that have stayed with the show from Channel 4. It makes the whole "Who goes...YOU decide" saying make sense.

Vote to save does not give viewers a house of people they want to watch, because it makes it too hard to get rid of HMs most viewers want out; and generally when a viewer wants a HM out, they don't want to watch any more of them.

But when we've had vote to save, those things remained much as before.

Totally agree, should always be a vote to EVICT

Exactly, say if more than 3 housemates are up for eviction (one of them beng the "hated" housemate) and we are voting to save we need to vote for 2+ housemates just to get one housemate out. At least with a vote to evict then we can evict the person we hate easier.

Vote to SAVE is just a money making ploy Channel 5 have cashed in on for CBB and one that I hope NEVER returns for BB.

Now that made me laugh, it didn't this year.

Yes, I think Vote to save means the producers feel less need to manipulate the nominations process. I'd like normal noms, with the 3 or more housemates with the most noms to face the public vote and the public to safe their favourite. I'd also like the crowd to be quiet during eviction announcements.

Well i'm not being funny as much as I loved the Channel 4 days they are long gone . Channel 5 should start it's legacy they are already half there with it being Vote to Save for CBB.

100% yes, it's more representative of viewers preferences rather than small groups hatred.

The deadwood stays and the controversial and entertaining hms always leave first. This must change!!!!

VTS makes CBB a much better show because all the big characters stay throughout the series.

And if it was VTS we would have the constant posts of "Bring back VTE so we can get rid of ............"

I've just posted in the other thread that VTE vs VTS only matters because these days we have mass evictions instead of the classic 2 people being up for eviction every week.

If every week we had classic noms in the diary room and 2 or 3 people are up for eviction on Friday it doesn't matter if we have VTS or VTE as the result will generally be the same.

However, if bb insist on putting 8 people up every week, then VTS is what we need.

VTE only worked because we had 2 or 3 people up every week instead of 10! They've changed the number of people we get to choose from each week, so either that can change, or the voting system can change.

Yes...but in combination with VTE not as a replacement.

It is "Who goes, YOU decide" not "Who stays, YOU decide, so it should stay vote to evict.

So ? BB is not the same show it was 10 years ago.
And I'm sure it's not difficult to grasp a change of 'saying' from who 'goes' to who 'stays' . The viewers aren't that thick
