Because he thinks they're popular on the outside. Not exactly rocket science is it? Everything Cristian has done in the house has been influenced by his perception of the publics opinion.

Has it? So why exactly did he go against Marc when he came back from the bunker, when the house believed he was universally popular?

90% of the outside feedback Danny got was negative.
Cristian has been Danny's virtual pet Staffordshire bull terrier, so he'd never talk back to Danny.
He'd also not risk getting into an argument with Chloe, because she'd just go into super passive aggressive mode, start crying & run off to the bedroom; Danny would then utter the immortal, "You've made Chloe cry" & then all hell would ensue.
If Cris needs to handle his business he will. Marc is 1 yr younger than Danny and he told him off when Marc tried it. This whole Danny = TheGodFather is a myth, even if he does look/dress like a firm extra from a bad Danny Dyer gangster film.
He has spoken back to Chloe when he has needed to as well. I think people place a little too much stock in little moments in a heavily condensed 24 hrs 45-1hr program.

Because he already knew Danny was liked and under the nasty pigs influence by then.
Thats some nifty piece of history rewriting, Sheil1. Marc went back into the house to confront those who he believed had wronged him and smash up the clique. Cris was one of those, who then told him off.

Exactly this, that's why he sticks with Danny and Chloe, they are all the same and the reason why I couldn't stand for any of these 3 to win, I think all of them are totally fake and why I would love it to be Joel the winner, Nick the runner up and Jack 3 rd.
I just found it odd that he can give Sam a bunch of crap, but then let Danny treat him like garbage and say nothing? I just find it inconsistent and confusing.
He appears to me to be a polite and well bought up boy. I wouldn't think it's in his nature ( or certainly not without good reason) to tell people to eff off.
It's his gentle personality and nice manners that endear him to me. I'd be rather astounded and feel a bit let down if he started mouthing off at people. It has nothing to do with 'growing some balls' - it's just not in his nature to be rude and offensive. We have seen him many times trying to sort out his differences with someone in a quiet and intelligent way.

Like when he told Sam to, "Shut the f**k up." You mean?

Pinky swear?
Hmm, I honestly thought he had but now I'm unsure. Either way, he was disrespectful the way he spoke to her, just the overall tone and what not.

Yes.
I think she was more rude as she swore at him. He didn't swear other than to say "other people's shit" which wasn't specifically swearing at her. But as I said before, I think it was something that was blown way out of proportion (because it was Cristian) and they were a pair that bickered but got over things very quickly.

I've seen similar things said about all the other HMs for varying reasons.
It seems as if criticism of a forum member's favourite HM is always out of proportion or OTT, but not so for the HMs they don't like.
