Yes I loved it too - up there 'doing his thing' completely lost in it. Then his funny little giggle when Jack was having his hair shaved

He is such a quirky character I can't help but like him on the whole. Yeah I know he can be a sneering little gobshite but at least he bothers to put himself out there, have an opinion and he has a good idea of what's going on in the world.

He is still very young so I give him a bit of a pass for that reason. We all probably had some rather black and white, cocky or dodgy views at that age but luckily most of us didn't have millions (thousands?) to witness it, analyse it in great depth then rip it apart. I could just about stomach him winning as I think his heart is in the right place.

I don't agree, I think he was sick of Harry giving his mate Nick a hard time and was calling her out on it. Yes Joel might be opinionated, but spiteful and childish is nonsense! Harry was out of order many times and got away with so much in the house. Her temper was out of control many times and who else gets away with punching walls without getting evicted? Nick was way too nice to retaliate at she constantly badgered him and bossed him about. Good for Joel for calling her out. As for moral ethics are you joking, with the arguments and nastiness from Helen Wood, Marc, Danny, Brian and Nikki and Aisleyne this series Joel is a angel in comparison! You ask what sort of show others are watching?

It was one of the highlights of the whole series, cringeworthy, hilarious and camp as Christmas.

The series has sorely lacked lighthearted moments, Joel has delivered quite a few of them, I hope the lad wins this.

Joel for the win, this section of B.B. Confirmed he should win, don't know why it was emotional, but it was! A real B.B. Moment. Go Joel!

That was a truly excruciating hide behind the sofa moment. Jebus.
That cannot be unheard or unseen again. Scarred for life.

Yes I love Joel's quirky character too plus I think his heart is definitely in the right place and a amazing lad for such a young man. How amusing that the two youngest, Joel and Nick, act like the most decent and mature most of the time, and for these reasons think Joel should be the winner and Nick the runner up! I love the fact that Joel is not frightened to say what he thinks and puts his neck on the line regardless of what others think of him!!!!!

I liked the ending but it was edited in a way thst it seemed like the last night (either the last actual highlights or the hls on the final) with the finalists close ups and their pictures.

Imo they should hsvr played the song tonight to be shown on the Wednesday night hls. But either way it was a good moment imo. Cringe maybe but further confirms my support to Joel

I don't begrudge Joel his moment of fame, but his voice brought tears to my ears.

and do you know what I love, that Joel didn't give a shit. He was getting so much life from that music and just enjoying himself.

Nick should also get a mention for his mime/ballet routine.

Me too, and made the song seem soooo much longer than it actually was, it wasn't just the singing, it was the acting out of some of the lyrics.

I am referring to Joel's behaviour here, not Harry's - that would be a separate issue; not Helen's or Marc's or Nicki's or Brian's or Aisleyene's, just Joel's and IN MY OPINION he is every bit or more spiteful and childish as some of the nastier housemates but because he can express himself eloquently this often goes under the radar.

And what gives him the right to call anyone out? If Nick is man enough to persue a relationship with Harry (whatever that relationship may be) then he should be man enough to handle the fallout of what may or may not come out of it. I would say Joel needs to keep his nose out but I don't believe he is just being nosey or interferring, I believe he is being very calculated in every question he asks and every comment he makes.

One thing is for sure he will make an excellent politian but he isn't a nice person.

Oh and it the poster I was responding to that questioned what I was watching not the other way round

Yes totally agree, that's what makes Joel my winner too because he doesn't give a shit and is just being himself and I think most of the others are envious of that, especially Danny and Cristian.

Plus Nick should get a mention too because he is the opposite of Joel but Joel brings out the best in Nick and gives him the confidence he needs. If Joel didn't win, Nick woukd be the only other person I wouldn't mind winning because he's another decent young lad and I'm so glad he gets some time in the house without Harry to be himself and relax with his friend Joel!

Well we will have to agree to differ then because I see Joel as completely the opposite to you, I think that Joel is a nice decent person and he was looking out for a friend, being Nick, and Harry had been having a go at different people with her temper and one of them was Joel so he stood up to her and at the same time for his friend Nick.

I thought that was a great moment.

The moment it hit home to Danny who the big danger to him winning is. Interesting to see how this affects his behaviour, in particular towards Joel, in the coming days.

Personally don't want to see either of them win. Or Chloe. So basically I'm almost certainly going to be disappointed.

And yet Harry herself has stated more than once on bots that if nick doesn't win she wants Joel to win, she must have really been fed-up with Joel's constant badgering and manipulation.

The editing team leave a lot to be desired this year.

I don't agree, even Chloe complimented him in saying that Joel can let his hair down and enjoy himself and be the life and soul of the party without a drink inside him! Nick joined in, enjoying it, Cristian shook his hand and Jack was laughing and smiling, a good time had by all but one it seemed. The only person looking sour was Danny, that was pure jealousy that Joel might have taken the winning crown from him! (In his mind only)

I think (along with his general smugness and sneering personality) that performance sort of sealed it as an 'Anyone but Joel to win' moment for me.

It was a genuinely funny moment in a series lacking in them. I hope Joel does win, he's provided many light-hearted moments wheras the others haven't, really.
