I've decided on a Galaxy S5 which seems a better option than an S6 especially now the price has come down. I'm with VM for services and i have VM sim 30 day rolling contract so can get the handset for £16 a month over 2 years which works out at £384 which isn't bad but I'm hoping I can haggle this price on a price match maybe if I phone them up?
Cheapest I've seen from a UK reliable source is £329.99 from Argos which would be equivalent of £13.75 a month.
Has anyone seen this cheaper and has anyone haggled with VM on price of handsets over 24 months contract?

That does seem a really good price.

One thing I would say is to get a Three SIM and check them out as I was with Vodafone for years and left them a couple of years ago for Three (as Vodafone had 3G issues in my town which they did not resolve after 6+ months) and could not be happier.

It's got blanket 3G everywhere (yes even in the sticks with none of this silly 2G and Edge) and a lot faster than Vodafones 3G.

Just worth checking it's ok for the places you go with a pay as you go SIM first as some people report dodgy reception inside their house (although they are meant to be turning on 800mhz 4G soon which should resolve the reception problems indoors some places that they have with their current 3G and 4G as that's a higher frequency).

I left Vodafone even though I can get a 20% discount for who I work for and even though they were offering me a blinding re-tensions deal.

I sound like a Three sales person, but that's just how impressed I am with Three.

I think you will find VM is Virgin mobile not Vodafone and VM run of EE same as some of 3s signal.

Ok - that's good then (just assumed it was Vodafone as I've heard it referred to as VM before).

Yes sorry. Virgin mobile sim £6 and get 2gb data, 300 minutes and unlimited texts and free VM to VM calls. So its just the handset I want.

Sounds like a good deal for the SIM.

I think they have an offer on at the moment with a tablet thrown in for £23 a month?

CUrrently same price (329) on GiffGaff. GG update their prices on a Wednesday or a Thursday each week, although they can go up as well as down.

It was a retention deal so I want to keep that side of it...i think I will phone them up tomorrow and see if I can bag the S5 for the equivalent of £329, its listed as £384 from VM.
