Nick invites people who say they trust him the least...Nick is a total fool, or a two faced gamer.

He didn't want to endure any more of Joel's fake singing and fake dancing.

How do you fake dance? Or sing, for that matter.

That way it is less awkward. Seems a reasonable move. Not fake so much as social awareness.

HUH? he's only there with them for 2 more days.

Why not be loyal and choose those he gets on with.

I think his reasoning was Cristian because he was feeling down after the task and he said he hadn't spent much time with him, Chloe because she had said Nick had shit on her a few times, so he probibly felt guilty about that, and of course he was probibly afraid she would throw her toys out of her pram and cry, let's befair it wouldn't be the first time!! And that leaves Danny, well would any of them dare leave "shut up" out of the party? He would have stomped off and then caused a row, so Nick went for the easy way out!!

Something similar to coosia's post. It's not that it would have been a big deal and 2 days is irrelevant. I mean that on that night (at that time) his pals will take the rejection in good spirit and the others will not feel awkward. Also neither will he. It's a pretty standard thing for someone to do if they are trying to make the best of the situation and avoid anyone feeling bad.

Yes, what was that about? Nick only said the other night that Joel was his best friend in there. What a plonker!

Do you honestly think in that split second Nick had to choose his party guests that he thought of that strategy of selection?

I accept that a lot of people like Nick but he gets away with so much.

TBF it was edited, we have no idea what his reasons were. Joel and Jack did not act shocked so I presume he gave reasons.

Lord knows what those reasons could be, doesn't pick his friend to go but does pick those who openly said they trusted him the least. lol

The guy is a con man.

That's what I imagine his reasonings were...plus Joel had already had a 'treat' earlier with the hamper & Jack has £24k

I think he just picked those who he felt needed a pick me up.

I thought the two outside were more entertaining anyway.

You are forgetting that Nick doesn't like to upset people or deal with confrontation. Remember Harry?

And he is not exactly slow is he. So yes he would have weighed up his options pretty quickly. He is a pretty fair, reasonable, intelligent person and did not want to make the obvious choice and pick his "mates" like some of the other housemates would have done.

Agreed. Nick is always thinking about other people before himself.

Can't believe such a minor thing is being used to rip Nick to shreds again. As if Joel even cared anyway.
