A total fool definitely!

I've never know anyone to be hammered so much for showing kindness. Constantly being labelled a fake, coward, fraud, wet drip etc.

So sad to see.

I think the lack of reaction from Joel and Jack (who seem the closest to Nick) made it clear that they understood fine.



I would say rather than kindness as such it showed a certain maturity. Basically social or emotional intelligence. I was confused initially too but after a moment I could easily see the reasoning and thought it was refreshing given the usual cliquey way these things tend to pan out. It's not really that surprising though that it is lost on some. It is the way of things unfortunately.

He's always asking how other people are, counselling them in the smoking area (case in point Jack last night, reassuring him that nobody thought any less of him for taking the money). Speaking up for Sam before she got evicted, showing her a bit of support when the rest were ready to throw her to the wolves without a second thought.

He's a gentle soul, the kicking he's getting on here is completely unwarranted.

I took it as he was trying to build bridges. As several have said, Joel and Jack seemed okay with it so he must have given a reasonable explanation.

I noticed when Jack was asking if the spray-tan would fade in time for the finale Nick looked a bit doubtful and as if he was about to say he wasn't sure about that but quickly shifted and said in a reassuring way that it would be fine. Another small gesture but certainly in line with the overall view that he is considerate.

Yes that was nice.

I thought he didn't invite Joel or Jack because they don't drink and there was going to be alcohol. I might be wrong about Joel, but I'm pretty sure Jack doesn't drink.

He did what he wanted, good for him.
