I enjoyed a lot of the fun from Marc but thought the rest of the housemates weren't being allowed to show their own personalities and once Marc left they would get a chance to shine. I now realise Marc was doing most of them a big favour by covering up their horrible horrible lack of personality. Chloe,Danny joel and Christian have a lot to thank Marc for.

And yet they are still there and Marc is not. So who is it that really had the horrible horrible lack of personality? Whatever Marc "had" did not keep him in the game.

He had personality, good or bad. The other bores brought no emotion out for someone to actively try and evict them.

I don't really think the Helen effect influenced Marc's being evicted very much if at all. Marc was Marc and even he gets boring when that's all there is.

I'd say Joel, Jack and Chloe could carry their own in the right company in terms of creating interest whether it be good or bad. Nick was very reliant on Harry and, to a lesser extent in the end, Jade. Cristian has got Croel and little else. Danny's story very much revolved around Marc.

They are only still there because we didnt get to see their true sides due to marc covering ip for them. I am quite sure danny and chloe especially would have been out long ago if marc hadnt grabbed all the air time with his crazy antics. What we are seeing now is an eye opener they are bullying self obsessed greedy buffoons.

Exactly. BB should have left well enough alone and let the game play out like it does every series. I didn't even mind the time warp guests as I think it might have brought some ammo for the existing housemates. But the 4 in 4 out was a big mistake IMVHO.

Well he was putting the spotlight on them a lot yes. In order to keep it away from himself, trying to make them look bad and himself look good. Good game play. But ultimately it didn't work he was obviously evicted.

Also it's hard to tell what others would be like of Marc was never in the house. The last week or two of BB always turns into a me me me fest. Even more than the other weeks.
