I think every one of your posts that I've read have been to defend Joel. That's more pathetic than someone who can see Jack is obviously looking uncomfortable at being picked on.
![]() Jack is not looking uncomfortable, nor is he being picked on. He's taking their playful ribbing in the spirit it's meant. And now I'm annoyed at having to defend Jack

What's so wrong with focusing on the positives of a housemate?

Might be considered obsessional by some
but each to their own and all that ![]() Jack doesn't seem to have any long term issues with anyone in there which would be a sign of problems (like Danny had long term issue with Marc, for example). What did someone else say regarding a negative thread about Jack? So who's (in this case) Joel a threat to winning-wise for this to be posted... |

Pathetic.
They are a group of young people stuck in a house, of course you are going to get wind ups and pranks! *roll eyes* Plus you are doing what a large percentage of the people on here do, which is look at incidents in total isolation. Chloe in particular has been undermining Jack for the last couple of weeks or so, particularly since he WON the cash. Yesterdays other little 'prank' where they hid the suitcase shows that the thing last night absolutely wasn't a 'one off'. They are secretly hoping Jack loses the money, because they're jealous and kicking themselves that they didn't go for it. |

Oh come on! What was Joel gonna do? Scale the wall a la Belo and flee the country with it?
There is a subtlety here ... (although many on this forum don't understand/do subtlety ... but hey ho.) Jack is supposed to keep the case within a metre of him and they know it. The point is, there was a chance, a slim chance, that Jack could have it taken back off him, and that was what was at the root of it. Sorry, that's my opinion, and I judge it on the bitterness and jealousy of Chloe and the smugness and self importance of Joel. |

Big Brother's production team, for it's many faults, understands the different between Jack leaving his case laying around and it being taken from him as a prank. Joel and Jack seemed fine on the garden later, or even before when hunting for Nick. At no point has Jack been shown trying to play the victim and yet it still hasn't prevented some trying to turn him into one and tarnish others in the process. |

Oh for crying out loud. Do you know what Jack did to earn this money? He pushed a button. He didn't solve world peace. He didn't negotiate a solution to the Iran nuclear crisis. He didn't sit in Brussels until midnight discussing the Greek debt. He pressed a button.

Bullying, oh dear! It was a prank. Cristian threw a pan of water over Joel - Is that bullying too? And Joel was the only one who didn't take part in asking Jack about his sex life.

Anyone that has any fun in that house has the title bully, no wonder we are left with this lot in the final.

Strange no housemate has ever called Joel a creep in that house... perhaps the incidence happen because Jack has rabbited on about the money and what's he is going to do with it and also is holding on to the suilcase for dear life... they have ALL been picked on in there at one point or the other (except perhaps Danny who probably can;t take a joke)

I think it's more that Jack has become the butt of most people's jokes in there (bar Nick). They probably don't stop to think that it may come over as 'picking on the fat guy'.

You don't think Jack and Joel were getting on fine when searching for Nick or licking popcorn?

That scene with Jack in the bedroom was awkward to watch, when they were trying to take the suitcase off him. Joel was like a screeching girl, completely attention seeking. And they know Jack isn't supposed to be more than 1m away from the suitcase, they had no way of knowing BB wouldn't take the money back just to cause more drama. There's something very off about Joel.
Similarly, when they were all asking Jack about his sex life. He was obviously uncomfortable and they were all taking shots at him. The joke is all those questions could easily have been directed at Nick and Joel too, and yet they also took part. Jack is now literally the only person I wouldn't mind winning. |

I really really hope Jack doesn't give them a penny. Joel was just a pig when he took the money. If BB had taken the money away because of the "prank" none of the others would have given a Damn, except maybe Nick. It may be viewed as a prank but it wasn't done in fun, there was a nasty edge to it. They were all too scared to press the button but really begrudge Jack having it. Chloe, Danny and Joel are letting the mask slip and their true colours are coming out now and it's not attractive
