The fact Joel at 19 is interested in politics and has the basics should be applauded. I hate that it seems like people who act thick get rewarded. Look at Joey Essex as a prime example.

The Queen's approval is still required for bills to become law. If memory serves the right to veto or disapprove them hasn't been used for several hundred years, but it is in fact still in effect.

In the debate about the financial capital I would venture a guess that both cities would move forwards and backwards between number 1 and 2 depending on what criteria you would use for 'measurement'. I would think that to most people their choice would lie with their allegiance. I wouldn't say Joel was wrong, but I would say there could be a healthy debate with someone who would choose New York.

I have to say it was a moment I really admired both men for. Danny was genuinely asking questions and he didn't come across at all uncomfortable having such a young lad be so obviously better educated than him. Joel was happily sharing his knowledge and I thought he didn't come across as arrogant or 'know it all' during it. I don't like Danny, but I thought that was a good moment for both he and Joel.

I'm not wrong, and I've justified this by providing facts on the difference between royal assent and queen's assent. It's rather telling that those that insist I'm wrong have been incredibly rude when trying to correct me with their own misunderstandings and sketchy knowledge of law; your patronising waffle was "paltry", with pompous hot air like that it's no wonder you want Joel to win; you seem very similar in your disregard of others.

The Royal Assent is the Assent of the Monarch who happens to be a Queen at present.

There is no set time period between the conclusion of consideration of amendments/ping pong and royal assent.

Probably the most dubious thing Joel said was about Britain being the 3rd or 4th wealthiest country in the world. I'm sure you could rig up a way of measuring it that would make that true, but it's not by the most obvious ways of doing it.

The UK has surpassed France as the fifth biggest economy in the world, and the country is expected to overtake Germany by 2030, according to a new research.

Latest figures from the Centre for Economic and Business Research (CEBR) reveals that Britain has overtaken France in 2014, taking into account the £10bn ($15.6bn, €12.8bn) additional earnings from drugs and sex.

France does not include prostitution or narcotics income in its gross domestic product (GDP) calculations.

CEBR also projected that the UK will overtake Germany, which is suffering from a declining population and the weakness of the euro, within the next two decades for the first time since 1954.
