So much for no outside contact

C5 might as well give em a free pass to the local pub for passing a task.

They gave up on that a long time ago which IMO was a very bad mistake.

I think we have had more outside influence / information than ever this series.

It's nearly over so it won't make much difference now. Still no excuse though.

Desperate Dan trying to eek a few tips out the guy on the telly on how to win the money. Hahaha pathetic.

The show has quite clearly made a deliberate decision to get rid of this rule and introduce outside contact as frequently as they can.

However, I don't really know what the benefit has been? Has outside contact really made any improvement on the show? If anything all it ever seems to do is just make the housemates confused as to how they're being perceived.

David and Lisa leaving the house in BB10 has unfortunately set a bad precedent for the series that have followed it

Shouldn't have been done back then, and shouldn't be being done now

It's wrong on all levels

IMO they shouldn't even hear crowd reaction on eviction night until the doors open.

It really has become ridiculous now. The whole concept of BB has been destroyed. All through this series HMs have been kept informed of what the public thinks of them. They might as well give them all i phones and laptops in the next series.

I agree. It was so better in the days when HMs didn't have a clue of how they were being perceived on the outside. And with no footage from the diary room they were never sure what their fellow HMs were saying about them

Why the hell were they made to turn their earpieces off on BOTS when the panel said who they wanted to win?

It's preposterous to carry on the farce of pretending your not giving them outside contact when you more or less deliver them a morning paper everyday!

It was these and other core rules that made the show, but sadly now have been whittled away to what we have now.

Big Brother has bended the "no outside contact" rule for years now. Let's not forget that in BB10, Lisa and David actually left the house for the purpose of a task. And then again the following year with John James and JJ doing the horse race.

There's been outside contact all throughout This series, starting with when Adjoa was still in the house.
