The hm's were dressed up, sitting on chairs facing the house, earpieces in. They totally knew that was coming with BOTS.

The producers really do take the viewers for fools. They can't even be bothered to do fake stuff convincingly anymore.

they do because they can get away with it & it's why they keep doing it , because the public don't catch on

They weren't aware of what was occurring in the house, they were told to dress up a few hours ago and crowd noise was played in, so they assumed an eviction.

BB probably laid out the chairs and told them to put the earpieces on without explanation.

Exactly, the probably thought it was a task or an eviction. They do as they are told (most of the time )

They catch on all right but there's nothing any of us can do about it except stop watching. But we don't.

I think they would have guessed what was coming. It's highly unusual to be locked in the garden, usually they get locked in the bedroom.

Couple that with lining up facing the house, with earpieces in, they knew something was going to happen that they'd be watching. If they still couldn't guess, I'm sure Nick would have clocked it being a BB fan.

Fair enough, they weren't actually TOLD it was BOTS, but they must've worked it out eventually, surely? There's nothing else it could've been, especially that late at night.

That was before they were told to sit in the garden, look at the house, and put earpieces in. They surely would have cottoned on by that stage.

I hate that were supposed to believe it's a complete surprise, give us some credit BB!

It was filmed at 10pm though, it wasn't "live".

That is the bit that does piss me off, the live feed twitter playing along as if it was?... when the housemates were probably enjoying their last evening.

I imagine that's why Rylan made the point of telling us the exact time, to make the point that it was live.

But Emma Kennedy tweeted 5 mins before the show started, thanking Rylan and that she'll never forget tonight's BBOTS.

I don't get why Rylan pretended it was live, what was the point?

Hold on...earpieces? This becomes more and more a joke as time goes on. I often wonder if a chosen few each day get questions through ear pieces. I usually think (I wish I had counted how often Bentley had said this throughout this series) "DANNY HAS A QUESTION FOR CHLOE". Really Big Brother, just random like the "hide and seek thing". He hides and all of a sudden housemates go "where's Nick?" Surely some time would've elapsed.

I think it's like curb your enthusiasm, where they don't have actual scripts, but meet with the director every morning in the diary room and are told the broad strokes of that day's storyline.

That was because she wasn't on the show and she really wanted to be.

So was it live or not?

I thought it was. They said it was.

They do, that's why people are turning off and giving up on the show.
