I know....a bit out of order and slightly bigoted but after looking at the whole Danny/Biannca/Emily B mess and seeing how much reality wannabes from Essex are all inter linked and all trained in how to succed in reality TV i think its time to ban them from BB for at least 2 years.

Its the same with Dexter Koh, the amount of people he was linked too really opens your eye to the business.

Let them go on Towie and other ITVbe programs and leave BB free of Essex and some Londoners.

Can we go back to the day where Civilian Big Brother actually featured normal, every day people with no agents and no showbiz background? Pleaseeee?

I may be wrong but I thought Danny was from the Garden of England - Kent.

I should say anyone who has links to Essex/london agents or hangs out with the same essex/london crowd.

There is a agency called castme that seems to have Danny as a cilent, other people from love island and seems to do a lot with the Towie cast.

To many links for my liking.

He is. Might be safer to make it a blanket ban of the southeast, allowing in times of great need clemency for little pockets of Surrey and Royal Berkshire.

At this point a ban on people who actively want to appear on Big Brother would be helpful.

Maybe housemates could be drafted in, like national service.

Or community service.

It should be anyone who has an agent no matter where they are from, in the early years of this show when HMs were evicted is when they were approached by an agent and news papers for a story.

True....but something about the core group that comes from or works with agencies from those parts is too much. maybe these situations happen all over British isle which i have not seen but london/essex seem to be dominating TV at the mo and it seems like they are dictating things a bit to much.

Agreed, anyone with an agent should be banned from civilian BB.

I agree. Not because the housemates with agents aren't necessarily nice or entertaining people, but mainly because it's hard to believe their agent hasn't coached them prior to appearing. What to do, what not to do etc, in the interest of making their client (essentially, their product) more desirable/sellable.

A lot of the good HM's haven't had agents until they exited the house when they are actively head hunted and it is so important to choose the right agent. And they are fans of the show and have also watched every series of BB and have auditioned multiple times to get on the show. Brian admitting he met Nikki when auditioning for BB7, Nikki 1st auditioned for BB3, Pete auditioned for BB5. They have put a lot of work in trying to get on the show and it is unfair for today's HM's who have agents which can advance them through the queue and get them on the show.

What about people like Nick though? He clearly veery much wanted to be on bb but he's not really in the same category as Danny/Marc etc.

He'll never come too much. Imagine him trying to read a few lines from a script out loud without tying his tongue up in knots. Or a guest on Bots. Drawling incoherently. They'd have to restrict him to two word answers.

Producers look for a mix of HM's so they can't select the same type of HM and that gives people like Nick a chance to get on the show. All the best series of BB have a good mix of HM's.

I'd much prefer a ban on Mancunians to be honest.

There have been some dire HMs from outside of England too. At this rate anyone living in Rutland should have a good chance of getting on BB.

If it meant I didn't have to hear people say
"sha appp"
"big brother harrrrse "

Then I'm down for a South East ban.

I was a bit cheeky with that post but overall like what some people have said there is this level of coaching people get these days for appearing on shows like BB regardless of agent or not. Its like a industry on its own, Run with the right crowd, hang out wih some people from the sex industry, hang out with "characters" from Essex....etc etc, then you will be the prime pick for a show like BB.

Dexter Koh was the first time i relised how deep this thng was (i belive he ran a company that prepared people for some sort of fame?). It's all good for shows like towie/love island stuff but please leave BB out of it.

I have no problem with people like Jack who may have appeared on shows like Deal or no deal or people who have signed up to agencies that can get them on game shows.

But i guess this is what BB has been about for a while.
