He is. Might be safer to make it a blanket ban of the southeast, allowing in times of great need clemency for little pockets of Surrey and Royal Berkshire.

Danny is from Margate so sorry I dont agree the show is there for anyone to apply
they just wanted to be on more than others His job's flexible - ideal for any reality wannabe. Plus his agent's the same as Emma's ![]() Quote:
What about people like Nick though? He clearly veery much wanted to be on bb but he's not really in the same category as Danny/Marc etc.

yeah I'd actively support anybody with an agent being banned from BB. It's a bit of an unfair advantage, although on the flip side I'm sure great housemates like Jade and Gina from a few years back would have had agents.
Basically, anybody who is terrible shouldn't be allowed on, agent or not

Essex is the main problem for me, it's like it's required to have 1 or 2 of them every year and they are all big mouth fame hungry people, it's sooo boring.

I'd ban anyone who says they're from Essex, but turns out to be an absolute Kent.

Can we go back to the day where Civilian Big Brother actually featured normal, every day people with no agents and no showbiz background? Pleaseeee?
The shock is that - even with agents and TV/media career plans - this years finalists are utterly underwhelming. If you are going to use Z-List celebs instead of "civvies" then at least get some interesting ones. Nick - OMG :'( |

I remember Rylan taking Nicole Scherzy to Essex when he was on XF and he described Essex as "the Hollywood of England" highlinging the glam hair, nails, tan and party lifestyle. At the time i was like "pppfftt ok then" but in hindsight it rings so true. Hollywod is a cespit of fame hungry, dilusional airhead wannabes willing to do anything for a quick shot at fame. |

A simple ban across the board of anyone who has appeared on reality TV or already has an agent would go some way to help get BB back to "normal" hms.

There should be a complete ban on anyone who has an agent/representative of any kind. In addition, accept nobody who has previously appeared on ANY television show, whether reality or game - or who knows any of the producers/ presenters! This gives everyone a level playing field from the start. Absolutely sick and tired of fame hungry 'wannaabees', all knowing past Housemates or presenters, following their scripts. On the other hand - will there be another 'normal BB' next year? Kinda figure after this travesty we should be laying wreaths for what was BB, which we knew and loved. |

At this point a ban on people who actively want to appear on Big Brother would be helpful.
Maybe housemates could be drafted in, like national service. |

I've always believed if they had the b@lls to pick some random people from bus stops and some homeless folk, you would get a fantastic Big Brother. Truer to the original idea as well.

There have been some dire HMs from outside of England too. At this rate anyone living in Rutland should have a good chance of getting on BB.

It's really just the orange-tinted faux-glamour of the Brentwood wannabe set (Sugar Hut, TOWIE etc.) and the London overspill towns nearer the estuary (Dagenham, Basildon, Grays, Southend) where the skanky and the fame-desperate tend to congregate. When I was growing up in Saffron Walden it was a running joke that our part of Essex wanted to declare independence from the 'orrible part to the south of the county :
