EE: Cindy and the men in the car

Does anyone else feel like the story she told Jane was a lie? It come off to me as if she was making it up as she went along. Also the fact she was silent during the walk back with Ian and Martin and for a while when she was back in the house means she could have been in shock. I get the feeling something more serious went on.

We didn't see anything about what happened in the car, so they have obviously left it open to invent any bad things they want to, if it's useful for the story. But normally, if something bad happens, we see it before the doof-doofs. In this case, the doof-doofs happened just before it looked as though something bad would happen, which usually indicates that nothing bad is going to happen.

I thought the same. She was walking like a traumatised zombie when she met Ian at the police station, then wouldn't speak for ages as if in shock!

I was very surprised when she said nothing had happened, and, confused as to why the script writers bothered to put the storyline in at all, as, they have made it totally clear on numerous occasions that Cindy feels unwanted and unloved, and, is just craving for someone to care for her.

To be fair, Cindy slaps on her traumatised zombie face whenever anyone pisses her off (often) in any event.

I think if a vulnerable 16 year old girl had feared for her safety then yes she would look traumatised. Doesn't mean anything physically happened.

I don't think anything happened to Cindy. Her looking traumatised was Cindy realising what she did getting in the car with 2 men and how badly that could of gone.

If Rick Astley or his mate Gonzo so much as touched a hair on MyCindy's head...
