I have been really enjoying this storyline. I liked Bobby being the killer because I could see how many other stories it would open up. The false arrest, will mean Ian and Jane having to wrestle with their conscience (if that's not an alien concept to them ) and further down the road an in depth look at Bobby ' psyche and whether he is indeed a re - incarnation of Chucky. I have come across a lot of people on DS who are unhappy and want the storyline ended. I don't understand this, can't you see the possibilities here? Could somebody please explain why you are not liking this story or why it should end now? I genuinely am not taking the piss, but trying to understand. Some people have said they are bored by it, yet it's one of many reasons I continue to watch.

Thanks

Personally, I would rather that it wasn't dragged up, again. I feel like the storyline has been running for a long time, despite the breaks, so I have no interest in it. Overall, I don't think that I have loved the storyline. I don't care that Bobby killed Lucy. It's time to move on to the next big storyline.

I strongly disagree and you haven't quite made me understand, but, I cannot be upset with somebody I often agree with and loves Tamwar

Lol, sorry. Thanks for not being upset with me.

I was never a big fan of Lucy so I feel a bit bored of the whole storyline.

I am enjoying it too. Looking forward to seeing what happens next. Ian and Jane are not good people but they're certainly interesting

I like it. Glad it's not been forgotten and brushed under the carpet. With the Beales knowing who killed Lucy, a false arrest is a great twist and turn for the plot.

It will be interesting to see who gets arrested and see how Ian and Jane respond. Will it be Max as many predict or someone closer to home? A Ben arrest would be great as it'll draw in Phil a few weeks before Kathy's return.

I suspect it'll be Max but a Mitchell would be better in my opinion.

It's been a great storyline and had a fantastic payoff for the anniversary.

After the break it's had, a new phase of the storyline is welcome after weeks of Stacey/Kush/Shabnam/Martin.

This is only the beginning of an exciting time for the Beales.

Totally agree with you, a major part of the reason for my support of DTC was his decision to centre the show round the Beales again. Good actors, not always pleasant characters but always interesting imo With Adam being the longest serving and best male actor on the show he is deserving of the focus. And like you say with the Kathy return on the horizon as well the Beales are going to be very busy. Good post

I'm pleased they are picking the story up again, it's arguably the only really, really strong story EE has had under DTC and there's still plenty of material left to cover. The emphasis on Kush/StaceyMartin/Shabnam has driven me away as a viewer even though I'm in the younger demo of viewer because I think it's dull characters and weak material. I'm looking forward to seeing something more gripping again with interesting well developed characters and actions and consequences I actually care about.

I don't mind it, though I thought Bobby as a killer was a bit daft. It even made Cindy slightly interesting for a few episodes. And it sounds like the strongest material we've had for weeks. I bloody love Keeble. She's like a Rottweiler.
