I like this guy too and I said pretty much the same as the OP before in a previous thread:-

I've had a turn around. His worst period was when Marc was in the house. But mArc wanted him as one of his winners. Annoyed that negative stuff has been talked about which when I mention about Chloe I get the reply it doesn't matter what they have done outside the house. So one rule etc. I actually thought Danny was emphasising with Cristian when he was upset with the reveal. He was laying himself on the line to consol Cristian being upset. He shouldn't be criticised for that. Just shows how above board he is. I wonder sometimes about the age of some people are here in that they don't seem to have the ability to Process stuff for themselves.

It doesn't make you a sheep but to judge someone the minute you see them is weird IMO.

Danny discredits himself if he had not said and done all the things that he has people would not have anything on him, people may not like Jack Nick or Joel but there is nothing on them like there is Danny Chloe and Cristian.

It was just my gut reaction to him at that time as IMO it's not an act that someone offers to BB as a 'story', it would be a personal charitable undertaking for the girl in question, and did not need to be told to BB at all.

As I said, I didn't like/dislike him or any of the others, at that point, as it was pretty boring.

The man is quite simply a fame hungry, misogynistic moron; a grown man who cannot spell 'canoe' and who makes Anthony Hutton and Joey Essex look like Stephen Hawking and Marcel Proust respectively.

I fail to see what endearing qualities he has, other than to declare everything as 'bantz'.

There's no pressure on them simply because their little group has survived until the end and they recognise that having an argument now would destroy the good work they've been doing throughout the entire series. Danny was keenly aware of how easy it would be to walk to the final if he gathered a group of similar dullards around him and, like Victor said, picked the rest off one by one. Public will always vote for the ones out on their own on a big eviction night. Not rocket science really and it's painful to watch the fake love in.

They don´t even consider that he might have reasons to react to certain things. His point of view. It´s just PURE hate. And they don´t even know the guy.

Sometimes i really can´t believe what i am reading here. And all this hate started as soon as Marc entered the house. They even hate him for BREATHING!
I wasn´t a fan of Marc and i am not a fan of Joel but i never started multiple hate threads about them. I even can say that they both have good qualities too.

I am glad this season is over because it was most of the time just horrible and exhausting. I won´t miss this board. Probably with "survivor sucks" the most vile board i have ever come across in my life.

That's not entirely true. Many didn't like him from the outset. If anything Marc's arrival just highlighted why.
And of course, when you get to know someone better over the weeks, it's normal to form more solid opinions one way or the other, as has happened with all the housemates, not just Danny. Marc was just the trigger for Danny revealing who he really was. In this case, not very pleasant at all.

So people who don't like Danny are mindless fools with no opinions of their own?

I think:

1) No one is taking it seriously.

2) There have been plenty of good reason why Danny is not liked by some of us.

3) Unlike children we are able to form judgements based on our own eyes and ears and not on what some adult has told us we should think.

So because he was put under mental pressure by Marc, which would have never happend to him in the real world you think THIS must be the real him? Why can´t he be both? A nice guy with a temper problem? Or is that just not possible?

Mental pressure !!! There was no such thing imo. Just one who didn't take himself and the game too seriously v's one who did.

I would like to know how anyone comes to the conclusion that people are sheep if they dislike Danny? Is it not possible that many people can share the same opinion based on their own perception of a HM? Does that mean that all those that do like him are also sheep?

This is a question I keep asking every time this comes up. I'm yet to be given an answer funnily enough ........
