Is there any point in having Big Brother without live feed?

You're most welcome, and it's a very good reminder of how recently we at least had something.

I think the Hazel/Daley situation is a prime example of both why it's needed (HLs could never give an accurate view of what went on, we wouldn't have seen the build up the day before etc) and also how it feeds into the popularity of the series, with loads of discussion online etc.

In fact, despite the reality casting and some poor characters (imo) I really quite enjoyed BB14. Helen's pass ruined it for me last year, but it does make me wonder what could have been this year with LF, even with all the rubbish twists...

Yes we only see one side to every story now, rather than making our own judgements based on the facts we see in LF.

still seems wrong to many of us that a small country such as Albania can supply 4 live feed free to an audience of just 500k yet C5 seem to think its not viable for an audience that is double that. The fact that the show is made by the same company Endemol is hard to believe after this current mess.

That's something else I didn't know. Doesn't make sense.

On the LF thread I believe Oathy (who's been in touch with various high-ups about it) and/or others have explained it's a political decision, not a matter of cost or demand (?) but you'd need to check that yourself as I couldn't keep up!

It doesn't make sense to vote or bet on a bb without live feed.

The house is probably only full of HM's for an hour or so each day, the rest of the time they are going about their daily business!

This isn't BB anymore, it's gone on too long so in some respects has had to change. The days of 10 normal people going into a house have gone.

Being able to watch them 24 no longer exists

Housemates so savvy that they can fly under the radar means noms can't happen as they are, Or the risk of losing good tv housemates means things have to be manipulated.

The eviction process is now lacklustre. In old BB you told your chances and numbers dwindled so we ended up with 3 on the final night, The change in numbers meant roles changed and dynamics changed. In this series we had 13 people in the house a couple of weeks ago.

There was no contact with the outside world and now it constantly happens.

BB needs to be rebranded. Just put a group in the house, no evictions and see what happens - it's pretty much what happens now but we could have seen how housemates like Adjoa, Sarah and the Twins worked out should they have stayed. Let them all compete to be a winner, the no eviction rule would mean you'd likely see more people's true colours.

A good idea, but no income from voting would mean it's never going to happen.
