Jane - EastEnders!

I am shocked at how cold and unpleasant they are making this character! Over the past few months I have noticed a change... Are they going somewhere with this, or?

Jane's always been likable and positive and I miss seeing that as I think Jane is a great character!

They're showing the lengths she'll go to to protect her child. People say her character has changed, but she's never been put in this situation before.

I personally quite like the dark humour of Jane and Ian being slightly terrified on Bobby. The look of horror on their faces when he speaks out on something is priceless.

I'm liking Dark Jane. She hasn't gone bad, we've just seen how protective she can be and yes, I agree, I like the worry she has that Bobby is a psycho in waiting.

It's given the character some direction as otherwise she'd be getting stale by now.

I find frumpy Jane a hypocrit!

If she found out someone was covering their kid for a murder, she would be the first to stick her nose in and say some cliche like "either you tell them or I will".

At the end of the day, someone has died and someone may innocently go down for it.

Can't wait for Jane to get found out. Surely this can't stay covered????

There's a medical threshold for being diagnosed as a sociopath. To qualify, you must consistently display 3 of a list of 7 traits. McBeale displays 5.

The woman is dangerous, and needs to be locked up.

Glad someone else can see that she is a sociopath. Amazing that some folks see what she did with Lucy as 'just protecting' Bobby. Ian has been rubbished as a character through this as well.

Jane should evolve into the soap equivalent of the Harvey Keitel character in Pulp Fiction. Its the natural path for her to go down. Anyone needs a body moving they call on Jane...

Maybe she will become a villain.

She is definitely a sociopath, and Ian Beale has sociopathic tendencies. Both are dangerous and I wonder if they will come to a point where they murder Cindy.

I agree Jane is a sociopath. It's all I can think of when I see her these days. I don't think I'll ever get that image of her dumping Lucy in the boot of her car and depositing her on the common out of my head. I still can't believe Ian took that in his stride and is normal with her now.

On the plus side, I always found her boring so at least she's interesting now. I do think her days are numbered though.
