Many viewers are hoping that Tracey goes through some kind of redemption following her mother's death - so I thought it would be interesting to look at this from the viewpoint of the upper generation.

What say you?

I think they would have kept up the comedy with Blanche, but maybe softened her just a little bit.

Would have been interesting to see how Blanche coped with the loss of her daughter.

She would have been devestated then business as usual I loved Blanche.

I'd expect Blanche might have taken some of Ken's job in delivering the home truths to Tracy as she was always good at that.

Blanche is my favourite Corrie character ever. So annoyed that they kept her away for so long - she could/should have either returned in 1985 after they lost so many of the old school in 84. OR been Hilda's replacement as cleaner in 1988. OR returned in 1995 when it went to twee and dull. But we still had a decade thankfully.
