Could the arrested person be...?

Abi?

Since she lives with Phil? And that could potentially lead to Max taking the blame for her, and that's how he leaves for the year?

But Lauren knows the truth though Peter told her everything just before they left. Lauren was reluctant to keep quiet anyway there's no way she would allow either her dad or sister to go to prison for something she knows they didn't do. She'd sooner drop Ian, Jane and Bobby in it surely?

Was Lauren the witness? I don't think it was said. I was thinking maybe someone saw Abi beat Lucy up and it'll be someone else on the Square.

I think that when Cindy went off with those men Liam said something to the police which he didn't realise was significant at the time but makes him the new witness - hence involving the Brannings/Jacksons and maybe leading to Carol/Max/Liams exits

I think Billy will be arrested and this will lead to Lolas exit and the reason it happens at Phils house is because Marsden has been watching Phil all day until him and Billy are together and she can arrest a member of his family in front of him

Well the way Ian's been acting lately, I was going to say yes but I don't think so. Ben is blood related family after all and I don't think he'd go that far.

Jay makes the most sense to me, because he was the one seen in the CCTV footage from the bus that the police broadcast when they asked the public for help. I'm thinking someone finally came forward and id'd him as the guy wearing the very recognizable ski cap.
