Has the word process got on anyone else's nerves?
It has driven me mad hearing them talk about 'the process' - where did it start? Who said it first?
I thought it might be Jade - whatever it's incredibly irritating (IMO). |

Sure we've heard it before in a previous series, but I think we can blame Suralan for its increasing popularity lol.

Yes it does, I hate it.
What seems to happen is, some tosser says it and all the sheep start saying it too. Other words and terms I can't stand are: Banter journey Grow a pair Man up Fess up Stupid Oclock

Dexter (BB14) started it & I hate it too.
He seemed to think BB was akin to The Apprentice & all the HMs since have copied him. |

Yes, it drives me nuts.
Some of them seem to think they're on The Apprentice. |

Yes! If they start saying it the American way (ie "prossess") it will drive me even more mad.

I wanna say, yes? But I'm just gonna go on ahead and say, no?
(In an American accent)

Not sure I've heard them say the last one on BB but they're all very annoying, I agree. In particular, banter has been used to death the last couple of years.

What irritates me more than ANYTHING on this show is the way they all claim they are "Up for Nomination".
They are NOT "Up for Nomination" at all, they are "Up for Eviction", "Nominated for Eviction" or whatever, but not "Up for Nomination". How can you be UP FOR NOMINATION? FFS. As you were. Thanks.

"I tell it like it is"
No you don't. You vomit your ill-considered, inflexible and narrow-minded knee-jerks over anyone within range you ridiculous, one-dimensional cardboard cutout of a c***. |

The "up for nomination" really annoys me too (don't know how I forgot that one).
Speaking of nominations, a few years ago housemates started over-using the old "connection" reason, as in "I have not connected with X" and "he/she is the one I have the least connection with". I would like Big Brother to ban that as a 'valid reason'. But this series, I really became aware of how many housemates, when nominating, began every sentence with "I feel like ...." (or in dear Cristian's case, "I fee-oo laaaaaaak" - sorry, Cristian - I actually wanted you to win!). |

It's not a process, it's a journey, for heavens sake.

I think "up for nomination" although totally meaningless has entered into the realms of acceptability due to usage, and it almost seems pretentious to use "up for eviction" now.
Rylan and co should just leave it alone. We know it is daft but going on about it doesn't seem to make any difference. We know what they mean. |

My 'favourite' - 'I'm just being me.'
Usually said by people who would most certainly be better being somebody else!

In theory "up for nomination" would mean that you were eligible to be nominated that week. Presumably every BB housemate in history has been "up for nomination" at some stage, except Helen.
