I think the problem with the Hollyoaks cast is that they're predominantly young, and with youth comes immaturity and stupidity. They need to collectively get a grip and keep their discussions about work and their workmates off social media!

This is true but with a soap like hollyoaks who are SO reliant on their younger cast, TPTB seem to actively encourage the actors to hit social media with a bang in order to promote the show and therefore boost their ailing ratings. It's a perfectly legitimate and very shrewd marketing tool, but IMO should be moderated by the show to ensure inappropriate behaviour isn't seen by the younger viewers.

James Sutton is 32 so can't really use that as an excuse. This isn't the first time he's made a tit of himself on Twitter.

It's just that Steph and Charlie (Freddie) used to see each other in real life for a while, then next minute he's seeing Tammie (Grace)... It makes me wonder if Steph has been a nightmare on set since that happened and now it's all finally come to a head.

I don't know what he is like in real life but on Twitter he comes across a bit of a prat. Moaning about someone who committed suicide because his train got delayed, shaming girls for wearing short skirts and calling them sluts, attacking a girl who asked if he was gay in real life, called someone the c word. There's probably a couple more.
I do wonder what happened backstage though because of James Sutton tweet and the comments and likes from the cast and crew.

It's weird because there were photos of Charlie Clapham holding hands with Anna Passey (Sienna) after he broke up with Stephanie Davis. Now he's with Tamara Wall (Grace) but I wonder if there's any problems with Anna if they were dating at any point.

That article doesn't show her to be difficult to work with, it shows she was upset that someone came back and she had to leave the role. The producers liked her, she had been on the show in some capacity for 2 years... no mention or suggestion she was difficult to work with at all.

Fair enough. A point well made. Does make her look like a bitch though. No mistaking that. She was employed to cover maternity leave and when that contract ended she got pissy, and placed the blame on (as well as publicly humiliating) the returning cast member for denying her the right to continue in the role?!?!?!
The producers were legally obligated to allow the returning cast member to come back and Miss Wall knew the terms of her contract when she signed it. It smacks of petulance that she would stamp her feet and say 'no fair, I don't wanna leave'. Girl please, whilst it might be unfair, its all above board and written in the terms of the contract you agreed to. Calling out that poor girl and calling her nasty?! For returning to the job that is actually hers?! Unprofessional. Totally.

Hollyoaks has a very long history of co-stars dating each other - no wonder the powers that be do not seem overly keen on celebrating anniversaries. Just think of all the aggro when old cast members and scorned lovers come together!
