I never knew Sheridan Smith went out with Greg Wood? I knew Wall & Wood went out until she started going out with Clapham.

All of this bed hopping & partner changing is frazzling my brain. Can't keep up
yep from the end of last year, they were in love and got matching tattoos saying All In

It all came out last friday that they split and that greg and tamara cheated on their respective spouses. then you have Sheridan basically saying tamara is to blame for their split

and I obvs read the daily mail too much

James Corden was on the show around about the same time as Lesley Crawford and was very scathing about the cast. Although that was 15 years ago and I'm sure a lot have changed since then.
I can't remember him on it. What did he play?

I do remember Laura Burns. I also remember that she got the job via the 'Hollyoaks on the Pull' campaign in '2000 which also cast the characters Izzy Cornwell, Ben Davies & Theo Sankofa.

Is James not engaged anymore?
James & Katie split not that long after they got engaged.

James nows seems to be with an alternative glamour model!!

All of the bed hopping behind scenes shows just how unprofessional a lot of them are, relationships with colleagues hardly ever work out and almost always end in awkwardness and difficulty working together.
I'm shocked there aren't any rules about that in their contracts.

Did he?!

I must say I'm very disappointed to hear how horrid James Sutton apparently is. I follow him on twitter but very rarely actually read anything he says, I've never seen misogyny from him. Not that I disbelieve it at all, just saying. I had him down as a decent guy, judging by the comments in this thread it seems not. However, as the post above states, there's no need to comment on his appearance. That doesn't help anything, and he's clearly not remotely overweight or (physically) unattractive anyway.
Yeah DS did an interview with Eddie and he said how horrible the cast were to him when he worked as a waiter at the BSA's. Eddie said they were "bastards"

I also remember reading on DS that James Sutton tweeted how annoyed he was at the inconvenience of his train having to stop because some poor youngster had committed suicide by jumping in front of it. And the Actress who plays Nancy tweeted to him "that is someones child".

I think he's vile.

Yeah that was pretty puerile and insensitive of him and too think she use to date him

That's the problem he ain't too a bad as a actor, JP and Craig are some of the best stuff HO ever done but he seems to be a complete **** in real life, it will probably come and bite him in the arse in the future when he want employment else where.

Oh right, how horrid of them... As in they were horrid purely because he was a waiter and "below" them? Ugh. At least he's got the last laugh now, though...

Good on Jess, someone needed to say something. Do you know if he replied?

James Sutton is a nasty piece of work I follow him on twitter he always says horrible things then deletes them!

All these switch galore relationships and pathetic indirect tweeting from the likes of writers really gives you a sense of what the show is like behind the scenes - no wonder it's in such a state right now! Would never see anything like this on the other soaps...

Do you think this happened behind the scenes before Kirkwood returned? I read that James Sutton came back mainly because he's mates with BK (yikes he has terrible taste in friends!!).

When Kirkwood finally decides to f*** off, either Sutton will quit on his own terms or the new EP might pick up on his crappy attitude and show him the door.

There's no doubt about it BK likes to keep his cronies in and those he has no time for out (hence the number of times he's axed and killed good characters who aren't his creation) the show has certainly externally fallen flat on its face into the realm of insanity since he's taken over. It's clear he's very relaxed about cast relationships etc imo Sutton should have been punished the time he tweeted about the train suicide messing up his oh so busy schedule the man is scum (if you can call him that, he's that immature!).

From what I remember, James knew about the rape storyline before he returned. That could have been a factor - a promise of a huge storyline.

I'm rather gutted regarding this. I understand why she was axed because it's rather unacceptable but she was a very capable actress and is something that Hollyoaks is crying for. She's still young and I'm sure had she remained in Hollyoaks she would by far be the best actress. It's sad how much storyline can make a character unberable because Stephanie herself was an incredible actress.

I think this is the first time in 8 years that I've not actually enjoyed watching Hollyoaks. It's beyond horrendous and it's disappointing to see that Lime are not sorting it out considering how much of a mess the viewing figures are.

If Anna Passey is the next actress to quit I will be done, she's the best thing about Hollyoaks right now and the writers just don't know how to use her.

The show needs a major make over right now and I think it could do with killing a large amount of characters off in October.

It's also awful to see the Hollyoaks actors / actresses being incredibly immature regarding this, she's still a young girl and will be making mistakes. James Sutton , Kirsty Porter and Jessica Fox have went down in my estimations. James should be provided with warnings regarding his social media account.

I hope this is all just a publicity stunt and Steph Davies returns sooner rather than later.

Twinnie Lee is also an excellent actress, but it's painful watching her storyline at all because of how horrible the rest of the McQueens are being towards her.

Didn't James Sutton date Sammy Winward (Katie from Emmerdale) when he was in the show as well? Honestly, he treats his workplace like his own personal dating agency.

I can't say I feel sorry for Stephanie. At the end of the day, she had several warnings which she ignored, so she does only have herself to blame. It's a shame when soap stars think they are bigger than the show. Hopefully she will learn her lesson.

I don't blame him at all. He's shared many, many scenes with her in recent times and if she repeatedly turned up late, not at all or drunk it would annoy the hell out of me if someone who needs to be there in order for me to do my job isn't.

Some of people in this thread really need to get off their high horse. I highly doubt they would put up with this in their workplace. Why should he?
