I agree. He's 11 not 3! Most kids at 11 know the signs of someone being dead. I know the Beales are playing along with the idea that Bobby thinks Lucy got up, went out and was killed on the common but surely he would have said something up until now about clobbering her to the ground??
Yep it's very odd. All bets are off for me. I think they may be about to twist the story line one last time.

Stupid question time.

In the reveal episode when we saw Jane walk in with Bobby and Lucy.. was that based on Jane telling Ian what happened that night? Like did she begin to tell him and they switched to flash back scenes? Is there any chance those scenes didn't actually happen and it was Jane making it up for Ian's benefit?

I'm just baffled as to how Bobby can have no idea what happened to Lucy if he was stood there whilst she's unconscious on the floor. It makes no sense unless he wasn't ever involved.
No, the flashback episode was what actually happened.

The live episode picked up with Jane trying to convince Ian that she was the killer, but Ian didn't believe her. It soon dawned on him that Bobby was there that night too and Jane was lying to try and protect him.

Jane took Bobby away not long after Lucy died and spent those months convincing him that she'd taken Lucy to hospital, and that she was killed by somebody else later that night. Whether he believes that is another question.

A good episode ending a good week of EastEnders. At last it's getting good again!

The Cokers outside the door was a very funny moment. And we all thought it was going to be Max didn't we? Great twist.

And Jane is definitely unhinged!

How much longer is the Lucy storyline, going to go on for?!
Until she's resurrected and lives again probably!

Oh yeah, forgot about that. Add Sharon to the mix too.. and Phil. I wonder if it might be enough to trigger Ian into a bit of a break down relapse.

No. It was never going to be Max as Lauren knows Bobby did it. Many guessed Ben as it was going to cause conflict for Ian.

You're fooling no one with your innocent act, Psycho Bobby. And lol at Ben being arrested.

Jane was very clever in keeping that evidence. Now she can frame the easy prey of Ben [who's already killed before].

I wonder if Ian [and Cindy even] will go full heartedly with such a decision, though?

They should go in shooting.
I will give you 1 minute to open the door.....2 minutes later.......10 seconds....20 seconds later....5 seconds.....10 seconds later Philth opens the door.

They should have smashed it in and then knocked.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee - they had sex in the Chapel of Rest.
I wouldn't be seen dead in there.

philth has doubts
but no hair

They normally arrive with a warrant if they are after a murder suspect.
Not needed.

How much longer is the Lucy storyline, going to go on for?!
Till they can come up with something new.

Bobby listening and thinking he is in the clear.
Bobby claims to be innocent.

Ben and Paul make a hot couple
I loath them both.

Loved the episode, An excellent combination of drama and comedy.

Jane is getting colder and colder, Other times I've brushed her actions off as she was doing it for Bobby but she crossed the line tonight, I wonder what Ians response to her is going to be.

I'm curious about what Jay has to tell the Mitchells though, He was obviously staring quite intensely at Carol and Maxs house before he turned around and said that and spoilers for next week tease "tensions" between the Beales, Brannings and Mitchells so I wonder what he's thinking/planning.

Arresting Ben sets up the perfect conflict for Ian.

BUT my guess for what happens next is that Abi starts thinking about it and removes her alibi for Max in order to save Ben / get back at Max and so then Max is arrested... The forensic evidence will then somehow come to light as well as the taxi driver spotting him with Lucy when apparently he didn't see her all night. That way Mitchell's, Brannings and Beale's are all involved...

Abi is a completely brainwashed mug when it comes to the Mitchells. I thought the way she spoke to Max yesterday was foul. Obviously Ben didn't kill Lucy but I wouldn't be surprised if she tried pinning it on her dad. She's in for a massive shock when she realises her boyfriend is in the closet and was making out with another bloke in a funeral parlour. Won't feel sorry for her when it's all revealed.

Funnily enough it was Abi who bragged about 'battering' Lucy on the night. Max ought to tell that the the police as revenge.

I was liking Abi earlier this year but the way she has become a Mitchell stooge in getting on my nerves. It's miles away from how nice and natural Whitney is with the Carters or even Nancy with the Masoods.

Now that was a good episode. It reminded me of classic eastenders. Eastenders is good when the Mitchells and Brannings always take stage than some family. More episode like this please.
