Some facts: Harry is not much older than Nick 22 0r 23, I think.
She owns her own property in St Albans (her address, according to her amazon site)
They actually don't live too far from each other. He lives in Hertford. They had a conversation at one stage where they mentioned people they both know.

She is honest that she works as a cam-girl and models the type of rubber clothes that she wore in the house.
There is also a lot more to her life that we were not shown on the HL's, that Nick can testify to and John McCrirrick talked about, as he had a lengthy conversation with her (none of which was shown). We now know that she has met Nick's parents and possibly had that lengthy conversation there.

Many believe that Nick's parents must be horrified at this low-life, though Nick's father is a CEO of a gambling consortium -hardly the moral beacon. He, no doubt, grafted his way to the top and was not handed it on a silver platter. Nick and his siblings possibly have the posh accents from their schooling and his parents probably do not.
Nick's sister said her dad was glued to BB - hardly the behaviour of a horrified parent?

Anyone who might have saw Nick's (prior to BB) youtube vids, describing how he sits around all day w**king, should possibly consider how much more this would disappoint any parent, than his relationship with Harry who seems driven in her work and other, more principled, areas of her life.

I don't think they are a match for life, (Harry will probably be the one who gets bored of this lounge-lizard) but there is nothing insidious or wrong about their current relationship either. It's their business now.”

Harry is no saintly role-model, but its useful to point out actual comparisons in terms of character, achievements, behaviour, with Nick....as I agree, its almost as if hes assumed to be on a much higher 'moral' level than she is...why? because of his accent? money? nervousness? If I was a guy, I doubt very much that I'd go for Harry, and as a woman I most definitely wouldn't go with Nick, but each to their own. Whether it lasts a day or a year, its up to them. But its hard to conclude who is in it for what reasons, only they know.

Same rules as always with the higher profile female housemates they can make money on their own , the males on the whole can't

I think there are a number of factors here.

Yes, Harry did act in a very embarrassing fashion on Thursday night but I put it down to the following:

1. The ghost of Nikki saying she would invite Harry to her wedding with Nick.
2. The over emotional crying & hugging display of Jade meeting up with Nick the other day in the BB house.
3. Too much to drink pre-final going live.

I think they do genuinely fancy each other. It might last, it might not ~ who cares, they are having fun for the moment.

As far as rinsing Nick, well here's the thing. He's an adult and if he is stupid enough to be rinsed then so be it. I'm sure his parents aren't stupid and his allowance will soon stop if they think he is being taken to the cleaners. We'll see how much rinsing he does on a dole allowance. Added to that, I honestly don't think Harry would do that to him. She can earn plenty I am sure without resorting to rinsing Nick.

Exactly individually Harry will make the most money of the housemates whether people agree with the way she makes it

Agree about 1 and 2 letting people know Nick's hers and her fancying Nick not sure at all to me i think shes still upping her profile and have us believe there in a relationship everyone is talking about it.

Yes, it just has to be someone or something else's fault, rather than Harry being responsible for her own behaviour.

I think you have the part about stupidity backwards. If she exploits someone's stupidity, that makes what she does despicable; it's only if the person isn't stupid and understands what they're doing that it might be ok.

I wasn't attributing blame to anyone. Harry is an adult and how things affect her and how she reacts is her choice. She chose to allow Nikki and Jade get to her, she chose to (possibly) drink too much.

Regarding Nick, as I said he is an adult too. How he acts and what he does is his problem.

Really good post. Not just with Harry but it seems the women contestants get a far harder time than the men. Same for Sarah and Jade from what i can see.
People like Danny can threaten violence and Cristian can talk about mailing a girlfriends dad some revenge porn and yet they're 'lovely lads' and Harry get's called stuff like 'webcam skank' and far far worse. Assuming most posters are adults it's all a little embarrassing at times.

I wouldn't pay too much heed to these boards as it's petty clear there's the same kind of bias you get with most reality tv shows these days, but your post here is bang on the money.

People are so quick to allow any number of sins from the 'ladz' and will defend them to the hilt but when it comes to certain women it's claws at 10 paces right from the off.

Just to balance up the sexist nature of the thread then and regarding the title and base for this thread, I remember vividly the same and similar accusations being doled out last year to our favourite significant HM, Steven.

He was, justifiably in my opinion, described on here as the nightmare boyfriend, an embarrassing boyfriend, boyfriend from hell and control freak in the highest. He might still be all those things, except he's the husband now.

You wrote "I put it down to the following: ...". That certainly looks like blaming to me.

Nonetheless, if she exploits someone's stupidity, that makes what she does despicable; it's only of the person isn't stupid and knows what they're doing that it could be ok.

Yes, Steven was given worse here (rightly, imo), but Harry should not be above criticism.

I don't think it's her morality that people are talking about when they call her a nightmare girlfriend. It's her insecurity that leads her to unreasonable jealousy (such as when he talked to the ice cream girl) and her general unhappiness which manifests itself in attacks on him. (Misery loves company)

Thats a fair point and I won't disagree with that aspect about her...I definitely saw her 'unreasonable side' on more than one occasion and can accept that. I guess what irriated me a bit is that (more generally speaking) I get the impression that people focus more on Harry as the flawed one in that relationship.

While recognising her jealousy, I can also see some attributes too - eg I think she'd be far more likely to defend Nick and give him the support when he most needed it (even if at that time it might not be in her best interest to do so and might not be an easy option) I can't say the same for Nick.

A bit off-topic for this thread though perhaps, but I see flaws in them both (like theres flaws in all of us - but I wouldn't wish either as a partner!) but my impression is Harrys flaws are highlighted more than perhaps Nicks are, possibly because they were more dramatically shown in the BB environment. Just my impression.

I definitely couldn't call between the two who'd be the user in the relationship as it progressed outside the house, or who would prove to be more of a let-down as a partner, yet I think that most people conclude it would be Harry, which annoys me a bit.

Good points i think the reason why people would think Harry as using Nick is like shes a glamour model and Nick is a geek with cash so it looks dodgy, but we could all be wrong and they really do like each other only time will tell.
