Goodness me, who on planet earth is coming up with these as singles?! They are alright as album tracks but certainly not single material.

'I Am' is probably the best of a bad bunch, 'Thunder' is bloody awful and FUMF is okay as an album track but screams b-side Adele.

They're obviously not aiming for #1 singles before album release. Hence the on air sale/instagrat for I Am (song). It's not single material at all but I think the the label knows that. They have a long term plan and I honestly think they'll release the stronger singles after album release date. There really isn't much of promo she can do this time of year so it would be good to keep the stronger singles when there are lots of tv shows. They have released 3 singles atm before album release (which is more what her entire Glassheart era with Syco had). They won't stop the era once the album is dropped, they're not rushing at all so songs like Ladders, I Got You, Power, You Knew Me When, ... are all still in the run for potential single which can help selling the album.

There's also no point in releasing the stronger singles now because clearly Capital and Radio 1 aren't supporting her atm (nor did they during Glassheart era) so it would have been a total waste of a good song. It's just getting Leona back out there now

I actually think Thunder is an amazing song, it's really catchy imo.
