I think he probably likes both tbh.

___

On Day 3 he was asking Aaron lots of questions about his 'coming out' and what happened etc....He was also VERY flirty with him in the bath, and screaming as Aaron was chasing him round the house. If it had been a WOMAN and a guy, BB would have been ALL OVER IT!!!!! The next 'showmance' - 'love is in the air' etc etc.....

I didn't like Joel, but whether he's gay or not (im pretty sure he's at least Bi Sexual) makes no difference. Good luck to him!

Just based on the asexual men I had to hand as reference (which are few I admit) but those in the entertainment world with ambiguous sexuality, many if not most were discovered to be Gay, this doesn't account for ALL asexuals though obviously, I'd be a fool to come to that assumption

Nor do my comments reflect my levels of acceptance, I accept anyone regardless of their 'leanings'

It's hard to cover all areas in short comments, you provide a viewpoint and others think they have your whole line of thinking sewn up

it's a complext world and I embrace those complexities, good luck to you acid rain

Did Joel ever talk about his attitude to homosexuality? He's a christian conservative, I wonder what they are.

He's obviously very comfortable playing around with and indulging LGBT stereotypes, which is unusual for someone with his views.

I wasn't jumping on the 'offensive wagon' I was curious about the choice of words, that's all. People don't generally talk about being annoyed at being placed in the 'straight box' which I'm sure is as common for asexuals - not all straight men wonder around saying 'Cor tits' at every available opportunity after all, and I doubt all asexuals exhibit the stereotypical effeminate characteristics that prompt such discussion of Joel just as not all gay men do.

(tl:dr - I'm becoming more and more interested in post-structuralism and specifically, how the structures and limitations of language affect our world-views and attitudes)

Yes. Okay because many heterosexual men you will find slut dropping down at the local night club to drop it like it's hot!

I know. He should have kept his gob shut. Thou does protest too much and all that.

He said he believes people are born gay in a coversation with Aaron. But he said it in such a way, that I didn't not believe him. I thought this before I began to dislike Joel. Purely based on his body language and the fact his head was down when he said it. I doubt he ever supported same sex marriage.

The 'gay box' was the nick-name for the right hand side sauna room at my local leisure centre

He made me laugh almost every night singing dancing entertaining what a housemate he will be remembered in years to come when he becomes a Politician of some standing as the youngster who came 2nd in BB 2015 watch that space when all other contestant's include Chloe the winner will be forgotten Well Done Lad You Are My Champion .

Basically like most heterosexual males, he has nothing against gay people but personally he couldn't imagine being with a bloke.

I still think it's an age thing, he comes from a small town and hasn't explored enough yet. Good luck to him, whatever his type.

Politician of some standing? He's the camp kid from BB who did that weird dance move.

There are people his age working in the policy units of the conservative central office. Edit: is he going g to any university?

The gay thing is irrelevant, but the fact he is considered a candidate for office is shocking.

I shouldn't laugh, but I did.

Where have you plucked this out of?

I mean I know it takes some guys a long time, but do you have a friend or relative that has come out aged 70?

He's as straight as a bloody roundabout... as the kids would tell myself at school when I denied it.

There's no question.

You obviously gave enough of a shit to use the term as some kind of mitigation I merely challenged it's voracity, much in the same way your hero might have.

Small town mentality has nothing to do with population size.

Joel oozes small town mentality.

As his local is in Mably (which is a small village 25-30 mins outside Cardiff) then I'd guess that Littlegreen would be right

Doesn't seem like he comes from a sprawling urban metropolis.

Yeah, he's never going to become a 'politician of some standing'. He's going to go to uni and discover poppers and anal, then realise it's probably easier just to be a lawyer out of the public eye.

Sorry but you are really showing your ignorance there. Because of the cultural oppression many men don't come out at all let alone in later life. Grow up,
