I don't know, but he was the only grandchild who did his nana and grandpop's shopping as Joel's mum had stated that since he'd been in the house their cupboards were bare.

Well they are her parents or in-laws - why didn't she get off her arse and do their shopping. I expect it was OK if they starved while she tried to grab her 15 minutes of fame on BBOTS

Exactly what I thought. What a witch, fancy admitting to ignoring the needs of the older generation. Oh well, it takes all sorts I suppose, maybe they don't get on, maybe the Grandparents can do their own shopping. Big sigh......

I'm pretty sure it was just a really subtle way of getting it out there that Joel looks after his elderly relatives.
