Did anyone else think it was abit weird getting jiggy in the funeral parlour. Imagine if they got carried away and knocked Miss Birch out of her casket .

Also did it mention at the start of the show that some scenes viewers may find upsetting? There was a dead woman lying in her coffin! Bit creepy!

It was a bit odd them getting it on with a dead corpse in the room.

I suppose at least they weren't doing it with the corpse.

The whole idea is in seriously bad taste.

Nice that the only two gay male characters are shown doing it in front of a dead body. Real nice step forward for the community there EE. >_>

totally weird as well, why would any reasonably sane person think it is at all okay to canoodle in the presence of a corpse?? I mean yes we know Ben isn't normal anyway, but come on Paul.

Do the Corkers know Paul's gay?

Clearly derived from Joe Orton's LOOT.

That was a really weird scene. They should go to the park or so.

Because that makes it better or morally right? Come on now. A park is OUTDOORS, a public place that is just as wrong.

I was really confused by the whole thing with the body. Wasn't Paul meant to dye and cut someone's hair? How was he meant to do that to the poor woman's body? How do you wash the hair of a corpse in a caskett?

That's because no-one has any morals anymore, things people should be outraged by become humour. No-one has any real concept of what is and isn't acceptable anymore.

Seriously in bad taste.
I wanted the grandparents to catch them so they can see Ben and Paul showed such utter disregard for the deceased.
This was such a low point for EE.

I wondered exactly that.

They are both repulsive.

I just thought of that poor woman's family.

Have some respect ffs.

Completely agree. It felt as though we the viewers were meant to find it funny or something. Well I'm sorry I wasn't laughing

Although I did think the 'corpse' was more animated than both Ben and Paul put together!

Seriously the guy who plays Paul is atrocious! I'm seriously peeved that he seems to be sticking around for a while. His 'acting' puts me in mind of when I watched Home & Away in the mid 90's when they had the vacant himbo's traipsing in and out of the surf club

He is utterly appalling.

I just cannot see why Paul seems to be so popular and the character is obnoxious.

He and Ben deserve one another.

I think it may have been done, so sniffer dogs will smell a dead body off Ben and he will have to admit he was with Paul in there with that body infront of that lawyer woman who will tell Phil probably to expose Ben as gay to Phil again.

DTC should be ashamed of himself for even considering that. It was totally distasteful and the whole scene was totally unnecessary and pointless.
What was the point of it and what were DTC and the writers trying to achieve? Did they think people would find it funny?

I'm usually against fans complaining but I hope they do in this case.

I found it one if the worst scenes ever... When i saw the jeans on the floor I felt ill.
So disrespectful .
And if Paul was going to do her hair was he really going to bring his boss over to see how he did? And as for his granny allowing that to happen .... Amazing!

I felt physically sick and I'm surprised there hasn't been a backlash over it and even the worst horror films wouldn't even show something like that.

Eastenders really sunk to a new low tonight.
