You've watched some very tame horror films

The scene with Joffrey's dead body in GOT was worse and that's not even horror.

Pam's line 'I think he's just finishing off!'

I think some posters are being a bit over the top in their reaction to it, but it was definitely in poor taste and not funny at all.

I don't understand how you could even 'be in the mood' with a dead body in the room.

Also, I take it the lady's relatives were ok with the idea of Paul practicing his cut and colour on her? Otherwise, wouldn't it be awkward during viewings?

Good that Pam didn't want to put Paul off his stroke. Very thoughtful

It's called black comedy and was obviously meant to be farce. (Why Ben got locked in the room with the corpse.) I don't have a problem with them using something like this for fun once in a blue moon.

The dramatics in here lol

It was meant to be funny. They didn't even showed them kissing.

its all very odd in my opinion ,why would the undertakers do that ?change the hair colour and give the poor woman a hair cut the script writers have no idea , or do they find it funny to turn out trash ? and to have sex in the chapel of rest is just down right disgusting

With those two lines, EE descended into Carry On territory

The tone of the episode was all wrong. Leaving the dead body aside for a moment, the writers are portraying the Ben and Paul saga as if it's a big joke. Ben is cheating on his girlfriend, with another bloke, and we're supposed to be laughing along with it?

It reminded me of Kat's 2012 affair, when they tried to involve the audience in a 'hilarious' guessing game of "Who's shagging Kat?"; when in reality it was just the story of an old slapper cheating on her doting husband for the 100th time. The Ben/Paul thing was in similar bad taste, and that's before the dead body even comes into it.

Clearly you have never seen I Spit on Your Grave. (remake)

That scene was wierd, in fact the whole episode was, was he going to take the corpse to the salon???

Are the EE team on drugs, first the rapist being focused on as some kind of victim now passing off bumping uglys with a corpse in the room as humour, I think DTC needs help.

Yeah this is what I thought too. I know Paul and Ben are supposed to be horny and doing it whenever/wherever they get the chance, but I just don't find it believable anybody could be in the mood with a dead body in a coffin right next to you.

Well... It wasn't the worst thing in the world... But it was probably the worst thing DTC has done so far and kind of harkens back to the bad taste rubbish EE was throwing out 3-4 years ago.

And after Jimmy Savile I'd have thought the BBC would be more wary about associating dead bodies and sex (all-be-it Ben and Paul presumably aren't necrophilies???)

Definitely a low point of DTC reign as EP and one to forget...

I was howling me, was brilliant, off his stroke, and finishing off, comedy gold!

It was disrespectful and in very poor taste. Worse than the idea of Ben and Paul getting it on in the presence of a corpse (who was someone's wife and probably someone's mother) was the Les and Pam Carry On routine outside the door "He's probably finishing off now" "I don't want to put him off his strokes".

FFS. How imbecilic and immature can you get.

People are really overreacting on here. As someone else has said, it's black comedy. I'd rather EE tried something a bit daring and jaw-dropping rather than the same old soap clichés time and time again. If people are really that offended by it then wow...

It wasn't any less cliché than all of the other soap tropes that EE deploy. As soon as they went into the room with the dead body, it was obvious that Ben would have to hide under the coffin at some point. He then got locked in for a while, while Paul was being distracted by Pam and Les - totally cliché.

Black comedy really isn't EE's thing; they should stick to what they do best. I get that it was meant to be funny, but I just found it weird that anyone would want to do it with a corpse in the room. Ben and Paul both came off creepy. It was a misjudged scene.
