The biggest screw-up...
David_Robinson1
17-07-2015
The biggest screw-up was still '4 out, 4 in', where four who weren't even nommed were made to go on the same night. If they'd got rid of 4 of the nominated ones, the whole face of the show would have been different. Who preferred Simon, for example, to Harriet or Sara?
Also, I've been thinking about BB#1 compared to this year's: "ordinary" contestants rather than showbiz and catwalk wannabes. No new contestants halfway through, except when Nasty Nick was ousted. In-house nominations followed by public-voted evictions, etc. etc,

Marc, Harry, Sam and Simon (and Jade who was 100% leaving that week) were much better and offered much more than Sarah, Harriet, Keiron and the loathsome twins.

Selecting Chloe as a housemate.

Chloe and Danny going instead of Keiron and Harriet that night would have been better but that's down to the viewers.

I have to remind you that BB1 featured in it's cast a Lesbian nun and a bisexual adult film star.

Chloe and Danny going would definitely have been the better option, but God no! Harriet staying would have been a massive mistake.

I'm sure you already know this, but I'm guessing the poster was talking about wannabe's. In BB1 there was nothing for the HM's to want to be because nobody had any idea of what they were getting into, or how it would pan out after it was all over.

I really don't see what Sam and Simon offered that was of any consequence. How do we know what Sarah, Harriet and Kerion had to offer---we never got to know them!!! About the twins though, I agree, I think they would have been evicted right earlier on.

The 4 in 4 out was the biggest mistake of the series. The aim was to get rid of some of the boring housemates but in fact it did the opposite. Yes it gave us Marc but it also gave us showbiz and harry with the tits and sam was just too fake.

All in all give me Sarah, Harriet and Kieron over those three. The only one we needed was Marc

4 in 4 out was the biggest mistake. We still didn't really get to know the housemates. I felt sorry for Harriet and Keiran because I think they had good potential. Could have lastest a lot longer.

Another mistake was the Timewarp task, putting Helen and Aisleyne back in there. The producers must know that Helen is not liked by the public apart from (braindead chavs). Aisleyne was annoying, attention seeking and kept trying to create a dull showmance with Danny when he clearly didn't fancy her. Boring. The Timewarp also lead the actual housemates to fade into the background for a couple of weeks.

This part irked me the most, it wasn't a very long series of BB and to spend almost two full weeks on arguments between Helen, Brian, Nikki and Asyleine really dragged the series down. I never got a sense of who the housemates were because there was a mass exodous 2 weeks in, then 2 weeks later an influx of over-the-top characters who dominated, it left little time to get to know the housemates who should have mattered. I think that's why all the housemates are being tarred with the boring label, we didn't really get to know them. I can't believe they all sat around doing nothing those two weeks, we just didn't get to see what they were doing because we "had" to see Helen's 75th argument in the house.

We saw what Harriet had to offer, every other word she spoke was a swear word.

I think 4 in 4 out was amazing just for shock value. The one time where the house actually was rocked to its foundations.

Chloe and Harriet were two of a kind. Both OK till they opened their stupid mouths.

Ending it on a thursday was kind of weird too- so that counts as a screw-up. I feel quite deprived tonight, it seems that crap big brother is still better than no big brother.
