Just watched a YouTube video of a 'fake' Mafia III trailer. It's left me thinking, yeah why hasn't there being another Mafia game since the excellent Mafia II, I absolutely loved that game, played it multiple times on different formats and recently got it dirt cheap for PC.

Loved the era, the story, great cars and fantastic music, the characters were great and I actually felt some sense of loss when Henry got sliced and diced.

Top game from last gen, so where is Mafia III ?

So what games are you longing to see next installments ?

Two games I would really like to see another instalment of are Blur but considering how poorly it did and the fact it helped to kill the developer Bizarre Creations in know this one will never happen and I would also love to see a sequel to Psychonauts, I found this a brilliant game with clever and varied environments.

I really crave another experience like The Last of Us. It's something that's been up for debate, as many don't want a continuation of Joel and Ellie's story (neither do I actually, it doesn't need expanding upon) but still...I just crave the experience again.

Something that definitely needs another installment is Timesplitters. I know about Rewind, but I don't know how much that'll feel like a true Timesplitters game, seeing that it's being developed by fans and all. It was a series ahead of it's time, a generation later, and it'd have been the most addictive online shooter out there.

Dantes Inferno, Shadows of the Dammed, not the greatest ever games but good enough for sequels.

FIFA.

Heard a rumour that there's already a sequel in the pipeline, so, fingers crossed.

Sleeping Dogs but only if it's still located in Hong Kong.

Shadows of the Damned is very underrated. Lots of silly fun. Sequel would be cool.

Sleeping Dogs but only if it's still located in Hong Kong.
Yeah this is a fave of mine too. A bit less of a generic story and more interaction with the world would be great. Has to be in Hong Kong though.

FIFA.

Please let it happen!

Alpha Protocol, The Saboteur, Mercenaries 2 and Godfather 2 all deserve a new release. I really enjoyed each of those games and would love a follow up to build on them.

I agree with some of the game posted above, I would also like to see a new Mafia game, Red Dead and Sleeping Dogs games.

An Alpha Protocol sequel would be amazing, shame Obsidian and Sega won't do it like as the original had a poor reception.

Actually, can we just have Deus Ex II instead? The actual sequels that we got were not a patch on the original, in my opinion.

Red Dead ??????????????????????????
Seconded!

Its release on last generation made it a stellar title. To be fair R* always seem to hit high when it comes to story telling. The games always look pretty, I can only assume they have a team of talented writers in addition to the development of the game.

R* says it is working on a new AAA title, I could only guess it would be the next installment from Red Dead or Max Payne.

Mafia was exactly the one I was thinking of after seeing the title of this thread.

Also, Timesplitters and Eternal Darkness. Neither of which are likely to ever happen.

Anyone remember Brute Force on the original XBox? I really like that game and wish they'd do another.

The Darkness, Dead Space, Max Payne have all had relatively recent instalments.

Syndicate (2012 version) was awful. Im quite looking forward to that kickstarted spiritual successor to the original.

Bulletstorm however was chuffing brilliant. That does need a sequel.
