There are quite a few records coming later in the year that I'm looking forward to (Julia Holter, Beach House, Titus Andronicus). As of yet, the first half of the year has been OK but nothing has stood out as way above the rest, just some good solid records.

I've particularly enjoyed:

Sun Kil Moon - Universal Themes
Panda Bear - Meets the Grim Reaper
Sufjan Stevens - Carrie & Lowell

Don't get the fuss surrounding Tame Impala. Find their stuff quite bland, tbh.

Goon - Tobias Jesso Jr
Carrie & Lowell - Sufjan Stevens
Available Light - David Corley
All Your Favourite Bands- Dawes
Nevermind I Love You - Annalibera
It's All Just Pretend - Ivan & Alyosha
Carousel One - Ron Sexsmith
Little Neon Limelight- Houndmouth
Fresh Blood - Matthew E. White

Still haven't listened to the b&S record. Think I was slightly put off by the fact Write About Love was so weak, and that Party Line song didn't really do it for me.

I've only bought 4 so far and I'm really enjoying them all, I haven't fancied anything else up to now.
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - Chasing Yesterday
Paul Simon - The Ultimate Collection
Brandon Flowers - The Desired Effect
Will Young - 85% Proof
Probably be buying Richard Hawley's latest one next.

I've only bought one that was released this year:

Marina & The Diamonds - Froot (this would compete for my favourite album of all time)

I have ordered Meghan Trainor's album Title and am awaiting its arrival

In no particular order:

James Bay - The Chaos and The Calm
Imagine Dragons - Smoke & Mirrors
Zedd - True Colors
Mumford and Sons - Wilder Mind
Breaking Benjamin - Dark Before Dawn
Fall Out Boy - American Beauty/American Psycho
Jack Savoretti - Written In Scars
The Subways - The Subways

That's it really. I can't name 15. CHVRCHES will definitely be on this list somewhere though when their new one drops in September. The first single is already very promising.
