When will Dot be released from Prison?

Soon. Let June have a nice holiday first

She was sentenced to 15 months I think and she'll only serve half of that with good behaviour so she'll probably be out of prison around September time. Whether they'll film any more scenes with her in prison though i'm not sure.

If the parole judge has any sense, he'd do well to release her quickly. Don't want him being the next person Dot 'gets some drugs' for.

When the prison realises that she's too dangerous to handle. Bet my bottom dollar that she's kicking arse regularly and even the screws are scared. She's got contacts to smuggle contraband in there whenever she wants.

I hope her cellmate Bernie comes to visit Walford when they are both out.

Dot's sister will hold up a bank and be sent down to the same prison. Then she will remove her top to reveal an intricate map of the prison tattooed on her back. After a few colourful encounters Dot and Rose will break out

Dot needs to return.

I have to say I haven't missed her one bit. She's a good character most of the time but she's not one I miss when she's off screen. I certainly think it's been proven on more than one occasion due to June's breaks that the series can survive without her.

I don't miss Dot/June Brown but she'll be back soon. Think she will come back in September.

September or October. Hope Charlie has a farewell scene with her.

I wonder if June took a break from the show or whether Dot being locked up was always apart of the plan and June got a long holiday out for it anyway.

I don't think she will get out tbh. I am getting concerned about Junes determination to keep working. I think she should remain a supporting character but have no more big storylines but i think she does need to cut back on scenes when she is filming.

Why should June's determination to keep working be a concern to you? Surely that's her decision?

Why would they give such a horrible end to the character

Dot is great but the cast is so large and with block storytelling back with a vengeance its not too bad to have her off screen.

No idea what they will do with her when she gets out, Carol will be gone, maybe Abi and Ben will be over by then and Abi can move in with her, or they could sort out Cora and Dot's relationship and have them as a good comic odd couple.

Dot is a legend any criticism will be referred to McBeale and the Bobster to be dealt with forthwith so be warned

I think Dot & Cora's friendship should be rebuilt and I hated the way that the then producer wrecked their friendship.
