Can somebody please explain to me......
Hi, firstly apologies if this is common knowledge, but, I am confused with the Bobby/Lucy storyline.
I thought Bobby told Jane and Ian that he threw something at Lucy and she fell on the floor and wouldn't wake up, but, now he seems totally unaware that he killed her. Has he been told By Jane and Ian that Lucy was ok after him hitting her? |

There's always been a flaw with Bobby not knowing he killed her right from the off because he said "she made everyone unhappy" at the reveal, which implies he knew she was dead.
They've should've had him say 'makes' instead of 'made' if they were going down this route, but whatever, it's a joke of storyline anyway. |

Bobby was referring to particular actions that Lucy performed in the past that made people unhappy, so the use of made is fine in this context and doesn't suggest in any way that Bobby thought Lucy was dead at this point.

Yes, Jane told Bobby that Lucy went out afterwards and someone killed her.

Bobby did suspect that he killed Lucy but Jane convinced him that he didn't and that Lucy was fine and went out afterwards and was then killed by someone else. As a child you believe whatever your parents tell you so I can accept that Bobby genuinely doesn't know he did it. However as he gets older he is going to piece it together eventually and realise what he did.
