Galaxy S6 Edge, and Bluetooth.

Hello all.
I've got an s6 edge and a bmw e46 with phone and Bluetooth.

I've read up on constant glitches with android with no solutions as yet, the phone disconnects and connects at will and unpairing and re pairing doesn't help.

The car has a built in Nokia 6230i.

What I was wondering is, can the phones be paired together to work that way, ie can my Samsung route the calls to the Nokia, and in turn to the car?

The more I think about it, the less likely this will be. But perhaps there's another solution?

Or perhaps a way to help the android software work with the older car module?

Any help would be great, bit of a newbie with this Bluetooth, even if it is as old as I am almost.

Thanks

Is there any possibility that the kit is trying to pair with both phones, or the Nokia is interfering etc?

I've unpaired the Nokia and it stays switched off as it isn't in use.

Also it plugs in but this is simply for power and antenna boosting so it doesn't interfere.

I've taken it.out of the car and still have the same issues.

If I'm working on the car with ignition in accessory so I can have the stereo on, my.phone constantly beeps where it connects and disconnects constantly, I have to switch the bt off.

Hope that's a little clearer

If you've unpaired and re-paired the Samsung, then the problem is likely with the Samsung bluetooth stack not being compatible. You'll need an update from Samsung

If u haven't already. Try switching wifi off when u connect to car via bt. My s5 mini is intermittent with my ford sync unless wifi is off.

I now use an app called trigger to do this automatically for me. Ie. A couple of rules. If connect to sync then turn off wifi. Once disconnect from sync then enable wifi.

Yeah it seems Google are aware of the problem but won't fix.

That is very very interesting with the WiFi issue though.
I'm definitely going to try this out and the app could be a more permanent solution, though I'm thinking it's the e46 being too old school.

I can upgrade the ULF for hundreds of pounds which should solve the issue but isn't the ideal way!

Thanks for the advice so far guys
