Chuck D is still very much alive, unless you mean he's spinning some discs, which excludes Biggie RIP.

It really isn't that bad. Sounds like a lot of the other commercial 'grime light' out there.

I like it, hope he has a good future with which every path he chooses.

Average, materialistic rap song.

Not as good as the rap music from the 90's though.

It is pretty ignorant (IMO) to attack Cristian for being rubbish if (quite clearly) some people have no idea what rap music is or nothing to comare it to.

I know very little about Rap - it's not something that I listen to or particularly 'understand'.

I do know however that it stands up quite credibly against other more popular successful stuff that I have heard.

Unless you know what rap is all about - it is a bit ignorant to be calling Cristians video crap and taking the pee out of big cars and hand gestures.

Thank you - that is my opinion.

He's a young lad with a dream - he may not be a top rapper but he is nowhere near as awful as some like to pretend.”

Well said

...i'm a hip-hop fan and have been 20ish years, so I can speak with some degree of authority on the subject. He's not the best I've heard but he has potential. He needs to establish his own image / persona and be comfortable with it, he seems to be trying to mimic other rappers which is understandable at his age. Flow and content will develop if he continues to study the art but he has time on his hands if he is really serious about it...

Good luck to him anyway

Good Lord, I must be bored as I just watched that all the way through.

Poor Christian. He seems like someone who's very lost. The Blackburn kid who speaks in a London accent but raps as if he's copying Iggy Azalea - an Australian pretending to be American.

There's absolutely no sense of identity coming through in this, a non-person with nothing to say mashing together a series of cliches and tropes in a vaguely rhythmical manner on a sports car does not a rapper make.

I did like the gratuitous (Louis Vuitton?) rucksack cameo though. I mean, f***ing LOL.

I think he has potential too if he's serious about it. He's only been rapping for 3 years, he was prbably just listening to it prior, he won't be the best. Just as long as he is realistic, not many break into the rap game

That car isn't his. It'll be rented for the video.

After all, it's a song celebrating materialism.

I really is diabolically bad...boring, repetitive, monotonous and instantly forgetable - just like Cristian!

Dear god! I just watched twenty seconds and my ears just died. I'm a musician so I might sue. What the hell was he blathering on about - out of time. Not much excuse with modern recording techniques.

Yes thats my feeling - he performed it reasonably well.
Obviously its not a groundbreaking rap classic - more a generic rap performed by a generic youth in a generic rap style,

I know some people are trying to be nice but come on now.

I am a huge rap fan from the old school to more modern stuff and Cristian is abysmal in any era. No ifs, not buts- abysmal.

Saying he's no worse than a lot of people out there really isn't a compliment. It's like saying one shoddy cowboy builder should be given props because there's a whole host of shoddy cowboy builders out there who are just as bad as he. (slightly odd analogy, granted, but it's the first example that came to mind and you get the gist).

If he was a 13 year old kid on Britain's got talent spitting out his bare rhymes he'd perhaps get some kind of sympathy vote for effort but at 20 years of age, let's at least call it for what it is- shockingly shamefully bad.

I'm not bashing him for the sake of it but as a rapper he is MC Dire

Ya get me bruv?

I wonder has he any sort of singing voice? I think he should be doing Jason Derulo type songs which might suit him.
