Yes absolutely! She's great fun and I love her humour. I'll miss her a lot.

Yes definitely. She's given me loads of laughs over the years and she and Eric are made for each other.

No, despite her being one of the longest serving cast members I haven't ever really warmed to her and didn't miss her at all when she went out of it for a while at one point.

Yes, yes, yes I will miss her, loads. She makes me howl with laughter. There's something totally liberating about a female character who doesn't give a toss what anyone thinks of her, she just goes for it shamelessly.
Her and Eric have been a fabulous partnership - I can't imagine him without her. A Geordie Soap Goddess. |

I won't. Not because I don't like her, I do. It's just when characters leave ED I forget about them, even ones I really like.

No. Like the good Doctor Vivian, they missed far too many chances to develop her character following various plots. Now she is beyond stale and her departure is no loss to the show.

No, the character is a vile, nasty person and she spoils Emmerdale.

Character is crude and as funny as piles and everything I hate about so called modern ED.
The actress is absolutely atrocious. Wacthing her trying to cry or emote is just cringeworty and a perfect example of why a lot of soap acting is sneered at. |

Not a massive amount to be honest. Val has run her course as a character

It's a shame she's leaving but I think the character has maybe run her course. I like Eric Pollard and it's be weird for him to have no more Val so yes I'll miss her when she's gone. She's been a good light relief comedy character.
