A lot of them come across quite badly on there.

James Sutton for instance has been called out for a lot of insensitive tweets in another thread, a few in particular strike me as very Regina George and their pictures edited to the point they are unrecognizable.

Say what you like about her acting, but Persephone is very clever on the likes of Twitter and instagram.

Completely agree, I think Persephone is so incredibly mature for her age. She's a really bright girl.

That's what I was wondering. James Sutton is the only one I was aware of. I can't think of any of the other current cast who have come across badly.

I was referring to ex cast members primarily, people like James Corden and Eddy Redmayne spoke out about them being egotistical and rude.

This has been discussed at length in both the James Sutton and Steph Davis threads...i'm not sure why you've started a 3rd topic discussing exactly the same thoughts?

I understand, yes they have had a bad rep.

I find Twitter quite annoying in that way, there is a huge difference between reaching out to an actor and saying they are good at what they do than saying they are the best thing on this planet which unfortunately is something often said to them on twitter, and surely isn't good for their ego.

The Hollyoaks cast do seem very vain and self obsessed, and I'd imagine that they are quite cliquey and not particuarly friendly with new cast members.

Thanks for that: I checked the articles out. I particularly found this quote from James Corden interesting:

"No-one cared about making TV they just cared about other things and that's not how I particularly like to work. There is not a huge amount of care or love that went into to making the show.

"It was a bit like a prison. There is a lack of aspiration and no-one wants to make it as good as they can."

I actually think it says a lot about the current state of the show as well!!!

Meh, a large cast like that always going to have a couple of numpties.

For every James Sutton sometimes acting like an idiot there is an Anna Passey who comes across wonderfully well on Twitter.

I'm not a Hollyoaks watcher but James Corden always comes across as an egotistcal pr*t to me so I wouldn't be at all surprised if the other cast members were cool towards him!!

I know it's a stupid thing to get annoyed about, but she may as well be tweeting 'tots amazeballs'.

The girl's reaction at not winning a prize at the soap awards showed me the type of person she is.

She looked really angry, didn't she? She looked really confident as well when her category came around. I was glad Amelia won.

I think HO come across the best in terms of cast. They all seem really grounded, really close and genuinely enjoy each others company on and off screen. Also they are by far the most supportive to their colleagues when they get nominated for awards etc.

I think Corrie come across worse. You get you Anthony cotton, kym marsh crew versus the grounded ones

Little Amelia deserved to win, she's wonderful, and April is a hell of a lot more enjoyable to watch than Peri!

Honestly... it seems like a very natural reaction to me. She seems to be holding her breath until the winner's announced, and then she gasps and smiles. Doesn't seem bitter at all. Just inexperienced. Kirsty-Leigh gives her a hug, but she's all smiles.
