definitely in the bottom 3 for me.

surely it's time to put BB out of its misery.... I hope it won't be returning next year

It was pretty dire. And all because of the manipulation, endless twists and outside contact. It was certainly worse than BB15 IMO.

Many claim they have quit watching the show in disgust but then always crawl back the next year to be disappointed again. And like a sad addict they claim they will quit again.

unlike some of these weak-minded individuals, I will NOT be watching this travesty again, even if it does resurface next year.

Runner up to series 4, the manipulation and interference is killing it

It started off really well but the 4in4out twist just ruined everything, along with the Timewarp task.

They don't need to axe it, they just need to stop the manipulation and go back to HM's that don't have agents.

I remember bb4, and imo it was FAR better than bb16, even though it did become quite dull for the last few weeks.

I would rather have that than what we have now, at least back then i wasn't complaining about the series as much. At least it wasn't a complete mess that it is now.

Quite a few people who've ciaimed they've quit really have quit, so you won't be alone in that. We've lost many of the best forum members that way, imo.

Unfortunately, HMs who don't have agents can be even worse than many of those who do.

Did Chloe have an agent? I don't think I've seen anyone say she did ...

they won't do that though. By now it should be clear that the current lot running BB have no intention to deviate from the current format, pay no attention to the criticism they recieve, and believe this is what the majority want to see. So it won't change

I would rather have no BB, than what we have now.

and considering ratings averaged at just over a million per episode this series, which is pretty pisspoor I think, there's a chance it may not return next year

It's definitely one of the worst.

BB15 is going to take a massive amount of beating for that title, in my opinion. I couldn't bring myself to watch this year's because of that debacle. I'm catching up a bit now it's over but I'm not going to watch the "Legends" (or should that be leg ends) weeks, they'll just annoy me too much and are irrelevant to the actual game.

BB had no faith in the people they cast and panicked at the first sign of low ratings up against BGT which was always going to wallop it. With an intensive casting process the producers should know exactly what makes their HMs tick and how to use them to create interesting dynamics. It shouldn't be about who can shout the loudest into everyone's faces. The show's problem isn't that the cast is boring - nobody on this planet is intrinsically boring - it's that the producers don't know how to use them to their best advantage.

4 In 4 out and adjoa leaving ruined it for me. It definitely had the right mix of characters but I think everyone who left on the quadruple evictions (aside from the twins) could have been good value in the long run.

This was te first series where (after week 3) I only watched about an episode a week

Honestly this series had the most potential up until the 4 in 4 out twist. that completely ruined it. Some of the bigger characters ended up leaving and the deadwood stayed.

For me it was extremely dreadful..

Thinking about this......now it is all done and dusted. I think it is perhaps me. All the furore and adulation over Marc has puzzled me, as I cannot stand men who put women down in such a bitchy way, and then make out they were having a laugh. Not banter, just plain nasty.

As I say, boringly, I think I must pull back from classing myself as a fan......I was a fan of the original idea, although it does look so dated now. The last 15 years are so very much different from the very first BB in more simpler times.

Now, if things don't happen quickly, or if HMs seem too cosy with each other, it is classed as boring, or deadwood and others must be brought in and asked to hype it all up.......that was not the idea of it at all.......it was supposed to evolve naturally, you will still get disputes, but without the obvious manipulation of it all. Now it had just become so ridiculous with so many twists that it leaves the viewers' heads in a spin;

My views or ideas seem out of touch with the more vociferous of fans, although when I do the polls, I seem to be with the majority on DS with my views, just not about Marc.

Btw.......he seems much better now he has left the show, maybe, as I had hoped, it was just an OTT act put on for the sake of BB........for his sake, and for the sake of his future family, I do hope so.

Worst series ever. One of the worst winners, too.

This year was probably better than 8, 13 and 15. So fourth worst ever, and 3 bad BBs in 4 years.

Well done C5 and endemol you are doing a grand job.

It was the people in there that made it the worst. No one lived up to their VT. When they are all so dull that's why there is manipulation. Also vote to evict is never good for the viewers, only good for making money.

Definitely the worst and I've watched them all. The producers are to blame mostly due to the manipulation and meddling. Add to that virtually no live feed, poor casting (in some cases) and vote to evict, ending up in a helluva mess.

All the best series had vote to evict.
