What was so bad about bb12?

“In fact it really doesn't feel like a series at all. More like a selection of slightly-connected mini-series that makes the whole thing feel weirdly disjointed. Like I really wouldn't say the last two weeks even slightly resembled some of the middle weeks.
BB16 1.0 was great and building up nicely. The cast seemed more down to earth, yet still interesting enough to watch. Sure, it wasn't immediately explosive but the dynamics were actually interesting to follow for once and things were just starting to get good. But all the blame for the poor production decisions, e.g. starting the series early with no promotion and putting it up against BGT were laid at the door of the cast and then we got....
BB16 2.0, which was where things tooks a turn for the dreadful. All the original housemates took a backseat to Marc being a knob, Harry getting her nips out, Simon being a grubby little troll etc. as proof that the originals were dull and needed spicing up. Cue more awful twists and things just got dull.
BB16 3.0 comes along and makes 2.0 look like a wonderful walk in the park. The Marc show became the Marc + Helen show which was naturally terrible. The originals took even more of a backseat so w could watch them trundle out more and more ex-housemates. Had it's interesting moments, but still only once you accept what a car crash the series has become.
BB16 4.0 was the last two weeks and this slightly redeemed things for me. We were finally allowed to enjoy the actual cast thanks to the overdue eviction of Marc and even though the money twist was just more meddling I liked that we finally got to see more of the original even if it was a bit late.
Soyeah, all in all it was just really messy and not what I'd call great BB at all.”
I think that's a good analysis of bb16, but unfortunately 2.0 had more viewers than 1.0, and 3.0 had more than 2.0, so BB will probably think they were improving the show, rather than making it worse.
