Do you think they would try and get Dermot O'Leary back? He has history with Big Brother, is relatively liked by the fanbase and is a high profile (possibly too high profile) candidate. And he has just been dropped from quite a lucrative post so is available.

I'm sure the most obvious option will be promoting Rylan but if they feel he isn't ready maybe Dermot could step in?

I'm not sure of the likelihood if this ever happening, but what about Matt Johnson? I doubt he would be considered for the main host right now, but I always enjoy him and think he's a great panelist on BOTS. I do wish he was considered for co-hosting BOTS with Rylan though.

But yeah if Emma were to leave the main show, Rylan would be promoted to the main show host.

No way do I think Dermot would step in he was smart enough to jump ship when BB was imploding, and I think he has been smart enough to jump again with the XFactor which definitely has had it's day, when Cowell employs the likes of of Nick Grimshaw as a judge you know it's time to go

Not just tonight. I can't stand him. Rylan can't just introduce the show, he has to prance about the place, coming down a flight of stairs like he's a big star. The guy is awful. Talentless and massively irritating.

I think I only watched BOTS three times this season because of him spoiling it.

You're totally right. BOTS used to be great. A programme that was a mix of catch-up, interviews and some really funny segments.

Now it's a trashy vehicle for a talentless X Factor reject.

I like Emma as a presenter. Davina was good, but I think it showed that she had outgrown the show and should move on to more sensible presenting.......which she did, and has been successful.

Didn't like Ryland one little bit, from seeing him on X Factor. Prancing, screeching, he reminded me of Marco from BB. I was going to ignore BBOTS because of him, but I did watch him, and now am used to his way OTT antics, but he can only do that act for so long........as Showbiz has shown........50 y.olds doing the same thing looks ridiculous in the extreme, and very draining. Loved seeing Ryland on Celeb Masterchef, and hope he wins, thought he was so good.

And is getting more and more successful. I'm not a fan of his presenting skills but I think he's likeable and wish he would stop acting the buffoon, it's not necessary. However, he would be an awful choice to present the main show, he can't control the BOTS audience so can you imagine him with the Friday night "audience" I can only see an ongoing career for Rylan, with the proviso he chooses his gigs carefully.

Incidentally what you have said is not a "fact" it is your opinion, to which you are fully entitled of course, just annoys me that so many people come on here claiming they are stating "facts" when they're not.

he turns to the crowd at inappropriate moments to get unnecessary "whoops" out of them - a device that is meant to be used when the interview is dying not when its actually working. he cant talk in "real time" only ask set questions and not respond to answers.

he is destined to return to kids tv presenting type levels.

I don't like Rylan, or Dermot, they both just promote themselves.
