Paddy and Aaron don't report him to the police after what he does, so something must happen. Maybe it's because Aaron will end up in prison too that they don't, but I don't think Aaron would care about that (he's steaming with rage in the preview And Rob looks terrified ). So Rob must either tell them something(I'm hoping it's this and it's something really jaw dropping! ) or they'll tell him he's got a couple of weeks to sort himself out and then he has to leave for good(which I think is more likely and a bit disappointing).

That would give Paddy and Aaron another reason(plus he shoots Paddy!) to go to the police. But they don't. They all end up in the pub the next day(with Paddy's arm in a sling). So why not? Either he must tell them something about himself or his past which shocks them, or there's the theory he might turn the gun on himself, or they give him some ultimatum e.g. leave soon and never come back and we won't tell! Or some other reason I can't think of Aaron looks incandescent with rage(apparently he takes Rob to the isolated lodge with the intention of getting a confession and then to literally kill him ) so I don't think it'll be a case of not saying anything just to protect Aaron from going to prison.
