More screentime for Denise

Well I suppose she's the obvious choice if they can't get Grant or Den back!

Eastenders missed a trick on not getting Libby and Martin together

I don't mind Libby, and I like seeing Denise as a mother from time to time. I can't see her ever coming back permanently, but a brief stint is fine with me.

I like the idea of Libby coming back for a guest stint. Its far more believable than when someone moves away , never to be seen again!! I think its good to see family members popping back , and i liked Denise with her daughters. Wish Chelsea wouls also pop back

DTC is a fan of some of the most boring characters in EEs history, I don't understand his direction of the programme sometimes.

Regardless of if Libby is a 'pointless' character or not, having her come back for guest stints is what makes the show realistic to me.

I look forward to it.

I wonder why? Maybe she's making Denise a Nana! I like it when the odd old character pops back. Some characters ran their course and wouldn't work as a full time return, but that doesn't mean there's not enough life in them for an episode here and there.

I like people's relatives popping back now and again even if they're not the most exciting. People are annoyed when relatives are never mentioned again after they leave so this is more realistic.

I hope she has new frames. The "Libby Glasses" used to upset me.

Libby was hardly the most intriguing character but to bring her back now and then has been nice. Realistic as well.

As much as i disliked the character, I would like to see Chelsea for a tiny stint as well and see what she has been up to. Plus she shares history with Dean so their scenes would be interesting. But i hear Tiana is gracing the theatre world with her horrendous acting a lot these days. So that could be why she has never been in line for a return.

agree totally! even though im in the camp of Libby is a bit of a bore, it wouldnt be realistic for, Libby, Jean, Charlie Slater (wasnt he due to return this year?) and the Squares outside family not to pop in for a visit once in a while. like are we to believe that Bianca hasnt once set foot back on the square off screen since her departure? why should the regulars be the one who should always who go and visit them. if DTC can get them back for brief episodes then i think its excellent! it shows more realism than any other soap out there.

Chelsea would have been better. Her and Dean have history. Squiggle is boring. No doubt her return scenes will be filler while more important stuff is happening.

Is it just me or is it time for Denise to go? What purpose does she actually serve anymore besides being the straight woman to Kim's awful comedy act? She was great in the Lucy story but I went off her when she beat up Patrick and Lucy.
