I was wondering how many of you use Spotify? I have started paying for it I think it's fantastic!

My laptop broke the other day so I now use a Samsung Galaxy tablet which as far has i know you can't use iTunes with?

I wouldn't be able to get by without Spotify. I work as a stockroom assistant in a place with no signal, playing music offline through my phone is what gets me through the day

Yes. I do wish B sides were included though.

Yup I'd be lost without it, though I am also trialing Apple Music at the moment.

It's great, much easier than buying songs and clogging up memory.

It sucks that it doesn't have every song on it though.

I have been using Spotify for years.

Its great for discovering acts & albums you wouldn't buy but after a few listens on Spotify you feel more inclined to.

I don't download songs anymore but I do buy albums of acts I like even though I listen to them through Spotify anyway.

I've had a Spotify account since it launched, but only just gone back to it recently.

I wouldn't pay for premium though, listening to the adverts is no different to listening to the radio.

I have had Spotify too for a couple of years now. Initially, I had a free subscription with adverts popping up after every 2-3 songs. I now have the premium service and for a while I didn't know I was paying for it . I must have forgotten I had gone for an upgrade.

Apart from the controversy over artists' royalties, I do find it a great place to listen to artists or bands whose material I may not be familiar with or songs that I might come across on tv, the radio or on here.

I think they mean they don't mind the adverts so no point paying premium to get rid of them.

I couldn't cope without premium though I download all the songs on my list so it don't use my internet when I'm not at home.

Have been using spotify since 2011 and love it, however, I am trialling Apple Music at the moment and am loving that also. Still use my iPod touch though to listen to music.

I use Deezer as it is a great way to check out a band before deciding if I want to buy. It'll never be a replacement for buying music (download or physical) for me.

I love it, but I've been trialing Apple Music. I'm still undecided what I think. I feel as if Apple Music is way to basic. With Spotify you feel like you have this little piece of software that you can do lots of stuff with...I even use the inbox feature to send/receive tracks with friends. There's also so much you can do with playlists. With Apple Music though, I find that there's nothing to the software itself apart from the search function. With Spotify I'm always coming across new music etc, but with Apple I just find it very boring and basic. The other day just out of interest I thought I would look for the top 40 and have a listen...I couldn't find a playlist for it!! Also, I might be going mad but it seems like all the playlists are made by Apple themselves?!!

Yes, I use Spotify (free version) to find new music and if I find something I like, I'll buy the album.
For more obscure stuff I use Bandcamp

Yes Apple Music isn't quite there yet, you don't have the ability to share your own playlists and Apple Music streaming features are hidden and awkward to use with the desktop iTunes. Hopefully by IOS9.0 they will have fixed some of these. Also the 100,000 song limit for uploading your own songs will help me as well. My son has just discovered Spotify are me trying to get him to use it for years so doubt I will be moving to Apple now anyway.

I use Spotify premium as it is included on my mobile contract, previously I subscribed to it separately. I really love the service getting access to almost any album I choose & also my AV receiver has Spotify built in, so I can create playlists on my phone / tablet / laptop / PS4 & my AV receiver can access any of the playlists without any other devices being powered.

Finally thanks to the likes of Spotify, I have increased my CD collection as it has introduced me to new artists & bands

I haven't tried Apple Music yet but this article from CNET gives instructions on how to share your playlists: http://www.cnet.com/uk/how-to/how-to...n-apple-music/
