People who come in contact with people like Bianca or Helen for example. Those women keep tapes too and they actually USE them. I think its very common that people keep tapes. I don´t think a lot delete them as soon as the relationship ends. And not because they want to blackmail.

Of course all the above is equally bad. But that doesn´t change the fact that Danny never said its sex-tapes and that he wants to blackmail. What you assume doesn´t matter at all. Cristian actually wanted to blackmail but i can´t see people being outraged about that.

I asked several times in other threads if people who are so outraged actually delete all THEIR tapes when the relationsip is over. Funny that nobody ever gave me an answer.

It's pretty damned obvious what Danny meant given the conversation. Why in the blue hell are you trying to defend "revenge porn"? Does Danny really mean that much to you that you'd try to defend something not only unethical, but also illegal?

Especially as he added, "in case they chat shit about me". the only two options are to use them as blackmail to stop them saying something about him, or to sell them to a paper, which would be useless anyway if the girl had already done that, so I don't get your defense of it ?

And you have no idea what he meant with talk shit about him. With the women he dates i can see why he might be scared of them talking all kinds of shit. Maybe he is into 50 shades of grey stuff and tapes it to prove that it was consensual or something like that. Could be for different reasons.

Well, me neither. I find it a bit cringe tbh. But i remember some people here were defending making sex-tapes and got really angry during the discussion.

Maybe he should think to keep his big mouth shut if he doesn't want people commenting on it, instead of putting it on tv for everyone to see. Those are the only two options I can think of, can you come up with any other plausible ones ? Or are you just peeing in the wind ?
